Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
From Fine's post:
Quote:There is nothing on WP that can't be bought from the very same sellers on a different venue. And I can share a perfect example of that. Take a look at the 7th last seller. They have 1 book listed on WP. But they have 1,000's listed with Biblio. Is someone going to try and convince me that this very active seller is legitimately keeping a store open on WP with one measly item??? And has done so for the last few months, faithfully paying $9.95 a month? Because if you even attempt it.... Sneaky, I have a buyer for your swampland! Edited because I forgot to quote!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I didn't think I'd find myself back here posting but here I am again. My main purpose for being here is I have a question. I'm reading this thread and I'm having a hard time understanding something. After my first post when I told of what happened with Brian on WP Truth came on and posted how he knew Brian had harassed others in the same way. Since that post Truth has posted a number of times on the subject of Brian only in a more positive light. Then he wrote that big long post on Brian's new project the new auction site.
Here is my question why is it that Truth and some of the others here keep reminding User391 that this thread is about WP not Brian or wpssu when no one seems to have reminded Truth about that very same thing? Can someone explain that? I don't know who User391 is and I don't even know if their views on WP are the same as mine. April I can tell you this for sure User391 is not Cats. Also Brian flamed her as you call it first and also lied in his post. I really wish people would stop playing these guessing games. I see User391 being told the subject of Brian does not belong here when they are not the one who brought the subject of Brian up in this thread in the first place. Truth seems to have done a very good job of it though and no one seems to have a problem with that. Just so no one can say I only came to say what I think about Brian when this thread is about WP I'll give you my views on WP. This should make some of you happy. I think WP has missed the boat. A lot of sellers thought the site had a good chance and to a certain extent they were right. It looked like it was going in the right direction it experienced rapid growth. WP had a chance to take action and make the right decisions when they had over 900 stores there. Instead they seemed to make decisions that drove sellers and buyers away. I think it may be too late for them to recover. There are more sellers who believe this now too. Come next billing cycle unfortunately there will be more store closings. Some have known this for a while. To answer the question why are some sellers still there when they really don't believe in the site anymore there are a number of reasons. For some it's a matter of moving inventory for others it's they are making money but even some of those making money have a back up plan because they know others are leaving. They are wondering how long it will last after too many sellers have left. I could go on there are many reasons and each seller has their own Why WP blew the chance they had is beyond my understanding. But it looks like that's what happened. I think for many the phone verification was the last straw and others were not to impressed with the newsletter this month. So from what I'm seeing and hearing more stores will close. Now back to Brian. There are many sellers who are upset with Brian whether they are staying at WP or not. It's not a question of who is on what side of that issue. I agree with User391 anyone who saw what happened would know WP did the only thing they could do in that particular situation. I don't care what else has ever happened on that board or why. If you saw this WP had no other choice. I know some on this thread have said Ray and Brain would have had it out eventually because of how they think Ray is. Maybe this is true I won't argue that something like that would have never happened. But what happened with Brian that night was the result of Brian's actions. Brian just so you know just because User391 or myself came here and said negative things about you does not mean we are one of the 5 or six people you banned. You have many more than just the banned people upset with you. Your proof you posted on what happened with WP was laughable to anyone who saw what happened. You left out a lot of important details Brian. Also others who posted on wpssu were reassured by you that they were in a private place so they felt safe posting certain things. They even thanked you for providing this place. When you did the site over you deleted post that you didn't want others to see like the one that lead up to people being banned and all the ones where you talked about the posters here on TT. But you left post that others thought were private made them public and then invited other people in. Why didn't you just wipe the whole slate clean. You did your deleting with no consideration for anyone other than yourself. Your apology to the banned people was a joke. Come back I agree with you now I'm against WP too. That says you have no clue what was even happening or your just playing dumb. As for your auction site yes there will be more people leaving WP but a lot of them will not be going over to your new site. That would be like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. I just want to add that April is Brian's sidekick so I think her decision to leave WP was based on the fact that Brian will as he says be leaving. Where Brian goes April follows. |

Thank you for that thoughtful post, scoop. Unlike many others, it was not an emotional lash-out.
I am sorry that WP is not going to work for you. I, too, felt that they let a prime opportunity pass them by. There are and were some great sellers there. I felt it was a nice, helpful community. I am at WPSSU. I want all of the free help that I can get. I am upset by the fact that like many others, posts were deleted like they never existed. They should have been locked or moved, but never censored or deleted. I laughed like a hyena at the over the top pro-wagglepop posts he made. We made fun of them here. We also compared our own enthusiasm with his. Brian has done me no harm. You have done me no harm. I also feel that anyone who made snide remarks to me while I was at WP has done me no harm. This is business. Personal feelings and fueds have to go to the wayside. The only personal grudge I hold is with Ray because he has not answered for his lies. I paid $9.95 per month (plus one extra) for those answers and it's past time for him to pay up.
I hate stupid people!

This was posted today on WP. I hope the author doesn't mind me posting it here. It is brilliantly written and offered a great chuckle to many people today. We could all use a chuckle right now. Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Truth why don't you read it your the one who has been writing post almost praising Brian and making the big announcement about his new project the aution site. You started bringing the subject of Brian into this thread before User391 or I did. Yes my first post was about Brian but it was only to tell everyone what happened on WP seeing they were all on here just guessing what happened. Your the one who kept posting about him after that.
Also if you read my entire post you will see I gave my opinion about WP in it as well which is what this thread is about. |

I paid $9.95 per month (plus one extra) for those answers and it's past time for him to pay up. [/quote] Fine, Great post right from the heart. As we all say it isn't about the sellers it is the venue and the venue owner. Scoop whatever happened on WPSSU I hold no grudges. In fact I contacted Brian and offered the olive branch and he accepted. I am a business person to the end. Ray made the mistake of NOT advertising when he had the chance. I don't dispute that some people are making sales at WP but I believe it only to be a handful of sellers. Had Ray advertised when the store count was at 939 maybe the positive growth would have continued. I don't know why Ray didn't advertise when he had the chance but if he had explained why he couldn't or wouldn't or couldn't afford it things may have worked out different. I was censored for asking questions and the harassment and ridiculing wasn't just from Brian, it was many people. Those questions were legitimate business questions. Because WP is failing is not Brian's fault it is Ray's. Because WP is failing dosen't mean people will leave to go to Brian's site I know that, we know that & Brian knows that. If we belived otherwise we would be fools. If you are saying and correct me if I am wrong that WP is failing because of a dispute between the sellers on the WPSSU forum you are poorly mistaken. TT posters have been pointing out the reason's why Ray is a scam artist from the moment Ray spamed every one's (not all but many) email from WP1. Ray can't be trusted end of story. The site numbers don't add up. Sales are grossly exaggerated from the site owner! Listing counts don't add up or never change. The list of site problems goes on and on. WP was doomed from the day Ray emailed the WP1 sellers. I seriously doubt anyone but Ray is responsible for Ray's actions. Scoop I am truley sorry to here that WP isn't going to work out for you or anyone. I understand the feeling of large fees from eBay and have had my share of bad times there. There are many options to sell from and I hope you find one that works for you. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network |
