Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
HEY SELLERS!!
Does the idea of building up your feedback score to boundless limits with nothing but glowing, impressive, positive feedback without doing any work appeal to you? NO packing and mailing hassles! NO wasting time creating and sending those pesky invoices! NO worries of returns, non-paying bidders, or feedback extortion! NO more time and money wasted to replenish inventory! Yes, you can sell the same crocheted doilie over and over and over! NO more paying PayPal commissions! Then, why not open SEVERAL WP stores under a few different user ID's? Just sell everything to yourself and give yourself feedback. Unlike eBay, where feedback scores are reflective of UNIQUE trading partners, every "sale" is eligible for feedback on WP, regardless of how many items are transacted with the same trading partner. Pretty hard NOT to consider yourself the best buyer as well as the best seller on WP -- and the transactions are easy and trouble free. The store fees are advertising write-offs and the WP commissions are write-offs, as well. Meanwhile, you can sell yourself a hundred items and get a gold bunny-bullet star for being "seller of the month" and be highlighted in the WP newsletter. And, you can brag about all the sales you've had on all the e-commerce forums, cheering your ass off and stirring up the Koolaid. |

Quote:BTW, I'm just curious. When your shutters were slammed shut by KaRay, did you receive a wrist-slapping email from Karen? No, in fact I was disappointed in that department. Here is what I received. Hello, Effective immediately, your Wagglepop account has been terminated for gross violation of the User Agreement. Your outstanding balance of $21.35 should be sent by February 19th to: auction@wagglepop.com (auction at wagglepop dot com) Please email me with the PP transaction ID number once completed. Karen - WP Customer Care Oh, well. I wonder what catagory my gross violation fell under? 4 U Ray the Dragon |

This store was just turned back on for the 3rd time since I've been watching it in as many months. Same items as in the past (but usually just the play-doh). KaRay took my criticism to heart and stopped reviving these stores with old auction numbers. Lately he/she/it has been assigning new ones. Still won't fool many people here though.

Here's mine; Quote:Hi Sherry, KaRay must be handling rejection better since that rejection is becoming so commonplace. He was so ticked at my stunt that he didn't bother coming after me for any monies owed. His anger overtook the welfare of his wallet.

[/quote] And another thing that points to this store being one that KaRay has hijacked. Go to this link, the landing page: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/sweet-celebration Actually it looks great, looks legitimate right? And it probably was once upon a time. I took another look at it myself and noticed a clickable link to a "Me" page towards the bottom. But there was no corresponding link or any sign of it's existence in the left hand navigation bar. So I saddled up and clicked away at the one in the description of the landing page. It brought me here: http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/UserPages/sweetcelebration Surprise! The message scrolling across my screen read: Quote:The page you requested was not found or does not exist. Quote:I tried to look but couldn't get past the main storefront. Is it just me or is WP sloooooow today (worse than normal)? It's slow. I'm on hi-speed cable and it is taking me a while to get in too. I love your last line eclectica. Rat, Quote:Please let me know what you think and be brutally honest. I can take it!! I can't be brutal and believe me I've been trying! I was poking through your site a couple of days ago. I was soooo tempted to click on your test listing but I resisted. It is beautiful; clean, concise, easy to navigate with classy colouring. It's so good I'm holding myself from dashing out to buy fish and tank. But I know my furballs would just thank me for providing an appetizer...
