Not defending WP, of course, but:

Quote:Turtlegaby just closed their store on Wagglepop...I don't know how many items they had, but they were always very "cheerleading on the forums". Stating lack of sales and traffic.

I hate when cheerleaders flipflop immediately when sales don't happen immediately. If they're willing to give Waggleflop a try, at least shut up and GIVE it a timely try. Don't cheerlead for a month, then snivel and quit.

Good then you won't hear this.  752 sales on WP last week, 5700 members...which works out to 0.53 monthly sales per member and makes the $9.95 look not so cheap since the average selling price is probably below $10 (this is assuming that 99% of members are sellers which appears to be the case).

SRG is Marty's (clact) group from the Stores Board.  Seller's Resource Group.  They are stores sellers who seek a positive forum/group to discuss how to sell more/better on ebay.

From the WP stores boards....

Hello Members,

I am happy to report that the InventoryDirect bulklister continues to track on schedule for introduction by the end of September, barring any last-minute issues.

For more detailed information about this powerful tool:

InventoryDirect

Once the tool is released, we'll have specific step-by-step instructions on how to retrieve your existing eBay listings using the E-Import component, convert and import them, then configure for final conversion and upload direct to the Wagglepop listing database.

You'll be able to import and convert thousands of listings in just days, not months!

Additionally, InventoryDirect works as a "stand-alone" bulklisting tool, allowing the bulk creation and upload of multiple listings from scratch.

We hope you find this new third component of the SmartSell Pro Package as useful as the other existing components, such as a Wagglepop Store featuring BusinessBuilder, and the SmartSell Pro Unlimited Listing Pack.

Just as soon as we have a target release date, I'll be sure to post an update Smile

Karen - WP Customer Care

Note: Barring in last minute issues....
What this means to me....is to have everything moved off or backed up by the end of September

Ok, I posted once before that while on WP I was getting hit with a lot of spoof emails from Ebay and Paypal.  I have been off WP for 4 days now and I haven't been hit with anymore of those annoying emails.  The last two I got were right after I left WP.  :Smile  do you think that it is related????  Boinktard :raypoop:

Don't forget about adding up your basic internet/computer fees, too, to mentally calculate your monthly expenses...

Back on topic:  WP stores now count 916.  That breaks down monthly to:
   916 Basic x $10 = $9160
   46 Featured x another $10 = $460
   28 Showcase x another $30 = $840

Total monthly income right now on Store fees alone:  $10,460
[/quote]

Pretttttttttty interesting info.
WOW!  At least one person is making a decent income!!!  ;D

Hello Members,

The maintenance and changes to the ways listing counts are updated have been completed.

All listings have been restored sitewide, and we are fully back to normal.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience and support Smile
