Mr. U1it4less asked for Poppers to post their Feb. sales. I offered mine. UniqueSeller offered theirs. My point with my other statement was only that some of the other sales numbers (or lack thereof) were given by sellers such as bratpack who closed her store partway into the month and was working on copying and pasting her listings to get ready for closing leading up to that. Sellers in that category are not indicative of the sales made by WP's current and continuing seller base, the sellers who are building their businesses and who account for the majority of the 9037 sales that were made in Feb.
Updated numbers 9 sellers 146 sales for Feb. Side note, I have had several sellers who are current or were sellers in the month of February email or PM me about there sales for that month on WP. I will not be including those numbers in this little survey. Only posted honest sales figures in this thread will be included so if you want them included you will have to post them. Not that there were any sales from those people anyway, because there weren't any. To keep this fair I feel it best for this to be the case. No 3rd party figures and remember be honest because I have loads of saved material. Also remember a NPB does not count as a real sale so please don't include. User391, Based on the pace that has taken shape for posted sales for the month of February your 20 sales falls below what it would take to be an average seller on WP (you need to start putting a little more effort into your business to survive in the so called trust based well you know). So far there has been only one seller who falls above the average sales that it would take to reach 9037 sales for the month of February, that was uniqueseller congrats to you. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." Store count 328 I don't see the big increase in stores that was predicted. Just more dangling the carrot to keep stringing along for another month. Ray you are so obsessed with deleting posts that have no reason to be deleted. Your censorship is absolutely ridiculous, you have gone way to far, nobody can even ask any kind of a question about their business and you have to delete it. Who the hell do you think you are fooling. The lies and crudeness with the way you have treated the sellers will catch up with you, and you will have nobody to blame but yourself. The sellers are not the problem YOU are the problem. Your lies and hot air about this bid advertising campaign are going to bite you, thank god some sellers already have that figured out, and will soon be out of your command. In all these months you have never done anything to help the sellers with their business, and you never will. You got these sellers all hiped up for nothing as usual, hopefully these cheerleaders will soon catch on to you. You will not get away with this garbage for much longer, you should be more concerned with the number of stores that will be closing very shortly. But we know you don't really care, you'll still keep that store count right where it is with some new dummy stores to cover your butt. I hope your reading this Ray and can see how terribly disgusted I am with you and the way you have hurt us, I can now say how I feel and know it won't be deleted, your can't hurt me anymore. It is an absolute crime what you are doing to some of these poppers, how your lining your pockets with their money and you give them nothing in return, except more lies and deceit, your can't even answer one legitimate question. How sickening a person you are to call yourself a businesman, no wonder it took you so long to actually sign your name to anything. I would be ashamed if I was you, but thank god I'm not you. I was always taught to help and respect people whenever you can, something you know absolutely nothing about. What a way to waste your life!!!!
Scampy, you've really evolved and my hat is off to you. You waffled about making a final decision to leave WP a few months ago. You posted here regularily back then but you drew back from this site and all the devil's spawn posting here to give WP another try. And you put your heart into this effort with gusto. Anyone who ever ever ever ever has the audacity to accuse you of being a quitter, a complainer, will have to answer to me. In my books you are the poster child for a seller that put a no holds barred, earnest effort into building their business on WP. You did so with honesty and integrity and created a beautiful store stocked with valuable product. You made numerous attempts through postings and other media to rally and support the troops. You should be proud of what you accomplished while there but even prouder that you possessed enough business acumen to recognize the deceitfulness of that site and bail. I am one of the devil's spawn. Welcome to my world.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
And I bet he/she is comfortable using the words 'dynamics' and 'transparent'. I challenge Unique Seller to share with us 12, an even dozen, sellers who did as well as you did in February. :turkey2: :turkey2:

Also - I do not normally use the words "dynamics" and "transparent". I sell what I sell. It will sell on any venue - its not any type of unique product. I list on a bunch of auction sites. Not that many are bringing in as much as I have been making on WP. Once WP isn't working for me - I transfer stock and move on. Such is life. I only look to make money - doesn't matter where it is - as long as I'm selling my wares I'm a happy camper. So, for now, $9.95 a month with low FVF are working for me. Now that can change. I am a realist. And once it does I reevaluate my situation to where I am making money again. Do I care about half the issues discussed on this thread about the owner? No. Why? Cause I'm making money. Period. I do not care if this guy crossdresses to get thru his day. All I am worried about is paying bills and providing for my family. So Over, not to sound mean, but maybe you should post that question on the PSU board and see how many sellers come out of the woodwork to answer it for you. At least you'd get an honest answer. And Alskling - I'm not a he. I am a she . UniqueSeller |

Working on closing my store and being called a quitter & complainer are 2 very different things. Do not try to make excuses for that statement. If you have a problem with me the pm me or e-mail me, if you have the guts to tell me who you realy are and call me those things with your real identity. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Just a little background for all my new TT friends. "powerseller" Started her own little group called WP Safe Haven shortly after the whole WPSSU fiasco. Yet another group that was supposed to be a place to openly discuss WP issues because the WP boards are so censored. Well I was fine when I was giving advice on how to grow and advertise our stores and talk about kids...etc. but whenever something "controversial was being discussed "powerseller" always tried to explain the situation away or sugar coat things just like kayray does. Well a thread was started about the grand opening and I could not keep my big mouth shut anymore so I spoke up on what a joke it was and the she booted me from her little group with a lame explanation. She felt I would influence the other members in a bad way, she says she is not influenced by other peoples comments but a lot of other people are. kayray and her must be related...lol Let me just say no tear was shed at being kicked out of that group anyways.
Christine, the group is intended to be a safe place for WP sellers to discuss anything that they would like to discuss WITHOUT the discomfort of it being exposed to people on this Tulip Tools thread who would treat us unkindly. Your last post made it even more obvious that the decision that I made to unsubscribe you from the group was neccessary. I did wish you the very best, but I do not appreciate it when I reach out and try to do something nice to help and support other people, and then have it thrown back in my face like this. For everyone, just for the sake of accuracy, this is the so-called "lame explanation" that I sent to Christine: In a message dated 3/2/2007 3:52:41 PM Pacific Standard Time, XXXXXXX@yahoo.com writes: Why am I no longer a member??? "Christine, I am so sorry. I have nothing against you personally and would like to keep in contact with you via email or whatever. The Google group was intended for current WP sellers to share ideas and discuss anything that people feel like talking about so that we can all learn from each other and grow and keep moving forward. I wanted to keep you in the group even after you left WP because it is good to hear about your new experiences with ecrater, Google checkout, etc. But, I felt that it became unbeneficial for those of us who are current WP sellers when you posted twice that it is a waste of time and questioned the legitimacy of the company, etc. I myself am not influenced by the opinions of others, but I understand that I am in the minority and some other people are highly sensitive and very prone to feeling sad and/or discouraged by the opinions of others. My intention with the group was only to help and not to harm any sellers or the WP site. I hope you understand why I felt that it was best today to unsubscribe you from the group. I do wish you the very best on ecrater and eBay and wherever else you choose to sell. Please keep in touch if you would like to. ~Alison"
