Edited to add the link in the post: http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/Help?cmd=popup&pages=banner_preview [/quote] Can someone explain to me why the banner ads are going to be part of the "Resources Portal"? I thought the "Resources Portal" was dedicated to stuff Poppers can BUY, e.g. mugs, T-shirts, mouse pads and to the guides Poppers are supposed to write and contribute (but cannot advertise themselves or their stores). What kind of resource is it to Poppers? Edit: Oh, wait. Maybe Ray will be allowing Poppers to use them for a fee to add as links in email spamathons, board posts, blogs, etc. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Slightly Off Topic, but I just had to share:
Our Old River Rat Driftwood website has gone from #41 in Google to #13 within 3 days!!! Our Alexa rankings have improved too: Yesterday - N/A* 1 wk. Avg. - 0.000035% 3 mos. Avg. - 0.000003% 3 mos. Change -- Traffic Rank: Yesterday - N/A* 1 wk. Avg. - 1,028,581 3 mos. Avg. - 4,679,599 3 mos. Change -- Page Views per user: Yesterday - N/A* 1 wk. Avg. - 9.0 3 mos. Avg. - 9.0 3 mos. Change -- I know this looks really pitiful compared to other sites, BUT this time last week our Alexa ranking was 7 million + with No page views! These Alexa rankings always confuse me, but does this mean my website has more page views per user than Wagglepop (at least this week)? :blinkie: Page Views per user for Wagglepop.com: Yesterday - N/A* 1 wk. Avg. - 4.1 3 mos. Avg. - 17.9 3 mos. Change 48% Edited to add WP page view stats and explain what I meant. LOL

We're the first site on page 2 now for our main keyword out of 289,000 results.

Congrats Rat on the placement!
Now, WP page will not load. Did Ray have a meltodown or is traffic so heavy that it took down the site? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Has anyone been able to get into WP in the past hour? I don't understand the weather is fine in New York. Maybe Ray pulled the plug or tripped over it on his way to the mornig session?

Nope, have not been able to get on the site at all. I've been trying for the last half hour and the wheels keep spinning and I just got the dreaded 500 Internal Server Error from the site.
Edited, because it's up and running now. |
