If Ray would stop his bullshitting and be honest (i.e. say "we'll be running a few small AdWord campaigns" or "we bought a $99 ad program called revshare") he might be able to broaden WP's appeal to people besides his small core of followers who are the type who believe everything they hear on late night infomercials.

621 Stores NOT found
Quote:Wagglepop Waggley Popping what the hell is that? Are we back in Kindergarten? Yes, you are. Have you seen the dancing bunnies or the Waggle puppy yet? Congrats to the WP newbee on your sale, but if you're lurking, just a heads up. The incidence of "fake" sales on WP is very high. Some sellers have suggested that KaRay may be giving sales to newbees under a variety of buyer IDs to pump the sales statistics. The Popper gets all excited thinking someone from the "otherside" (new buyer ID) has found him/her. After the sale, the buyer disappears and never pays. Usually, this puny sale (even if it goes unpaid) will be enough encouragement to string a Popper for another month's worth of store fees. Also, there are quite a lot of "pitty" sales from other sellers who will purchase a newbee's item as a "welcoming" gesture to boost morale (or purchase an item from a discouraged Popper to "help out" a little), hoping the newbee will recipricate and buy something from him/her in return. In the past, if a Popper whined enough about having no sales, others would come to his/her rescue by offering to cover monthly fees, but I don't see that happening any more. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Talk about a double standard!!! One popper is concerned:
Quote:Has anyone else noticed that sponsored links with the wagglepop name are showing up on google? Problem is they are linked to Ebay! Is Ebay doing this? Wouldn't that be trademark infringement? After dumping loads of all over the eBay boards and selling their items on the bay with ACTIVE links to WP, they have the nerve to question this?!?!?!? I don't know if this particular seller has done so, I just thought this particular question was pretty stupid considering the massive campaign poppers have been carrying on since the beginning of WP2, with KaRay's blessing.
I hate stupid people!

All he has to do is outbid eBay for the keyword.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
