RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
This has nothing to do with WP, but the owner of Lavish Auctions (a site very fond of sending unwanted emails) is asking this question on the support forums for that script:
Quote:Has anyone ever had a problem with way too many sellers and not enough bidders? and if so what do you do?
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"
"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |

So the Wiz is part of the Wagglepop project
How did you come up with that? What did I miss? Edited to add: Never mind. I see now you were talking about a post on the SB... not WP. I posted this for the Wiz. tee hee http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...1000305260&tstart=0&mod=1150903416260 |

"The first phase of the site only opened to the public on June 1. We've been working with a small group of sellers from the vintage board developing that part first. We are just about to open the next phase which will ultimately include about 45 product-focused malls." |

It's still been around a long time. Perhaps he's moving in a different direction with it, but he was courting folks to open stores many, many months ago. Maybe several years...... definitely during the time FAS was alive and well.
