Quote:Well, they do not prorate..AT ALL! So let's say you are basic...then go to featured. Your charged 9.95 plus the 29.95. Then let's say, you go back to basic after 1 wk. The...it's 9.95+29.95+9.95. Im still not sure what the other charges were. I "ahem" could never seem to get my bill to view. You're GOT to be kidding!! My gawd in heaven...... :o Edited to add: *berate* refers to RR. |

Welcome to TT!
Out of curiosity, is there info on their policy to charge for every change a seller makes to store type? If not... someone could be in trouble... as in Karay

Quote:Just remember it is Wiggly Waggly Poop billing procedures. YUP!! Kar-ray is sneaky. She? sends you emails that are brillant in the art of turning crap ard and making you saound like the biggest asp for not agreeing with the "collective". Quote:Out of curiosity, is there info on their policy to charge for every change a seller makes to store type? If there is...I have never seen it. BUT, I am famous for glossing over the "blah...blah...blah" of a user agreement.

Quote:Heard that one before!! Did you end up having to pay or were you able to negotiate? When I left there was "collection agencies" and other threats. After I said I needed to see bill(well, i said my lawyer needed to see it) & where the charges stemmed from, & the part in user agreement about prorating or lack of.... I never heard from them again.

Quote:Wagglepop Store Subscription Fees Includes complete SmartSell Pro Package So if you are a featured store, your subscription fees include the basic store fee. I don't find anywhere on the site that says if you go from the basic store package to a featured store that you have to pay the base price plus the featured price. Greed is the issue, Ray is almost at his projected 700 stores now. He is making up the lost revenue in more creative ways.
Good bye all

I never heard from them again. Interesting, most sellers that I know can't get rid of Ray/Karen until they pay. Will have to pass on the "threaten with a lawyer" and "user agreement" tactics. So you didn't say what kind of store you had there. What were you selling? I tried collectibles, that was the same as the dust collecting I am doing at home with the things in my house not for sale!!! I wonder if there is a market for dust??
Good bye all

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hi, there Hollerbackgirl!
I hear everything you're saying. I started asking questions almost from the time I first registered with WP in July and never got a single straight answer EVER until I was eventually banned from the boards and my registration suspended in September. Most of the last posts I had there were censored from the boards (as well as some of the posts from other sellers who merely mentioned my posts in their replies), so you probably didn't even get a chance to see a good chunk of them. I eventually crawled out battered and bruised from months' of being hit about the head and shoulders with the veritable asteroid belt of pompoms. I was also the target of insults and character assassination by KarRay and other cult members. If you've been at WP2 for a while, and frequented the boards, you may have known me as Designers Bargains. I'm glad you found TT. I had no clue this site even existed (until I was PM's one day by two other poopers who were fixin' to fly the poop), and I'm sure other X-poopers would be more than eager to share their experiences if they knew of this board. How did you find out about it? I don't know how you handled your bill, but I just told KarRay to shove it. I owned them nothing, and should they ever want to pursue collecting the $9.95 I DIDN'T owe, I would have been more than happy to take my case to 60 Minutes, file a counter-suit for lost income, pain and suffering, false advertising and anything else I could slap on. If you're still in contact with any of the poopers, maybe you could drop a hint of this thread, so that they can get a perspective apart from the one they are spoon-fed by KarRay. |
