RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Well, you all know me, I'm not hiding. I'm not running either. I have no personal issues with anyone at WP. I think we all have the right to sell (or not) when and where we choose. The point I would love to make is that there are first time sellers, single mothers, grandmothers, disabled people, etc. who are looking for an inexpensive place to set up shop. They should be exposed to all questions, answers and experiences so that they can make an honest business decision. If they have any business, I am happy for them and would not do anything to jeopordize that. However, promises don't mean business and I am saddened by real sellers berating those who do not know and ask honest and thoughtful business questions.
Save the poppers!
I hate stupid people!

I feel bad for the poppers who have put effort and "trust" in Wag the Dog and are chastised for asking simple questions about business, which is what Wag the Dog wants everyone to believe they are. That is why I am here and why I occasionally post on their boards. I am hopeful that some popper will have that hair on the back of their necks stand up and realize that something is wrong and get the hell out before they are overwhelmed by the koolaid and smiley faces Karen feeds to them.
Good bye all

Quote:They should be exposed to all questions, answers and experiences so that they can make an honest business decision. But if that happened they might discover that Yahoo is completely free and has a higher sell-through rate, or that there are many other sites with similar sell-through rates to WP (under 1%) that are much cheaper. Ray's entire business plan is based on luring the inexperienced (culled from 2 groups: 1. those who are inexperienced at selling and 2. experienced sellers who are inexperienced in the world of off-eBay auction sites) and keeping them in the dark. |
