RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Chiquita, good memory. They are still there. The Buddist seller. The store name is Om Treasures. I empathize with the recent opinions expressed regarding the Christian emphasis cultivated on WP. I consider myself a Christian but know to keep it between Him and me. As you all stated, and I agree, this is not appropriate conversation in a business venue. If you've got to talk about it, then seek prayers and support from intimate family and friends, go to a church service, light a candle or don a hair shirt and lash yourself. That is another type of thread I just couldn't park my 2 cents in. I think I did on a couple initially (one involving a feline fatality) but called it quits when a new one started showing up daily. I started to feel sorry for these posters, suspecting that they are very, very lonely.
PattiR, Maybe you didn't open a shop on WP2, didn't experience the angst some of us did in doing so, but you are one smart cookie in my books for having made such a wise "unchoice" to steer clear. I hope you survived WP1 intact without experiencing similar as the more gullible did on round two. I'd love to hear your story. Then, Quote:Same thing happened with WP1. We still aren't sure what he does to cause this--maybe sells the email list or something. The link I provided indicates that the server WP uses is open and vulnerable to scammers/spammers who's intent is to cull emails for their own purposes. Thank you for cementing my suspicion that this was the source. Already, my spam count is going down. Fab, (I can't remember all these new fancy names you people have adopted) I never saw your post expressing your thoughts on this. I wish I had! Truth and everyone else who commented on my testimony, thank you for your encouragement and support. Now recognizing Karay for who they really are, mentally stripping their facade and seeing the ugliness that lurks beneath, well that is what I had to learn on my own. Because no one tells me what to do, Okay!!! I feel we've taken over this thread from the many original posters who started it, perpetuated it, and shared so much valuable information. Most of them do not post here anymore. I'd sure like to hear from them again. It was their words, their experiences with RR that kept me reading for three days straight. I miss you guys.

Wiping the kool aid from his/her eyes a popper replies
Quote:I could be wrong here, but I think he wants to know why there are no xbox 360 here or why there isn't more products here. I don't think he is asking how to search them. I wish I had more products to sell, but... Yeah, WP, why the hell do you only carry shit like baseball cards and postcards from Ray's store? Chiquita, if I find them, I'll share.

I find it fascinating that when a buyer shows up and posts on the seller boards, the poppers almost freeze up, like they don't know how to handle it. Very bizarre behavior, and then they also seem non-chalant when the buyer leaves. :o

overhead,
I, too, would like to hear from original posters. Their invaluable information was a huge decision in my move away from WP2. I just wish I had heard of TT before. I think that we are providing a valuable service, though, as well. More than a handful of poppers have come here to share experiences and use this great venue as a place to "get over" our brainwashing, cult mentality. We already know that they lurk here and read the boards. I invite them to share with us at anytime or ask why we all seem so bitter. Don't know if Karay would sanction them for admitting to visiting us. :turkey1:

Quote:Our estimates project as long as 4-6 years before almost all categories and subcategories are fully populated. Wow, that certainly doesn't give the sellers much confidence in the secret changes and advertising planned for mid 2007.

Uh, oh a popper is about to get slapped for mentioning the A word
Quote:So is this supposed to be a lesson learned as to why we shouldn't advertise big time yet? Naughty, naughty popper. Expensive lesson to learn though....I think the XBox runs around 400 bucks and a game around 30-50.

I wonder how long it will take a least one person to read that part of the post and question it. Or will they just over look it and say their usual answer...Rome wasn't built in a day, and Pop Land won't be either.

FineThings4U, you are right about learning an expensive lesson. The prices you listed are correct.

I've got the feeling that the inquiring buyer SirBuysAlot knows exactly what he/she is doing. In a very clever way, they are exposing the flaws in a system that should be a high priority to serious sellers looking for traffic. Kudos to their tactics!!
