Those emails from KaRay are extremely similar to the ones I got. Must have a form email that they use and just change the name and a few details.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WAGGLEFACT RECAP
Dedicated to NEH WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY RAY'S SCAM Everyone who reads this thread by now has heard about wp1 & wp2 and if you haven't please review this TT thread and you will understand. FACT: WP1 failed due to a poor business plan (not well thought out). WP2 will suffer the same fate because the goals from WP1 & WP2 are the same. The only differance is that ray put a little more thought into his plan this time. Why are the goals the same, well lets just say his plan is nothing more than a scam and Ray is a master scam artist. Because ray is a seller he in no way can see things from a buyers standpoint so he is selling you his site for $9.95 a month to start. That is why the site looks like it does. You are seeing Ray's listing. So it does not matter if you are a seller you are still the buyer you are buying his scam. Everyone, correction all smart business people have asked why the site isn't set up to bring in the buyers. Well fact is it is and will not change much from what you see now and if it does it will still be to promote sellers to pay his $9.95 per month. Ever wonder or see how when someone says they are going to close there store that before that happens the store count will rise? It happens all the time, I seen it today and so did alot of other people. Ray has all power with his site remember that! Because he has all power he has created ghost stores and puts them up whenever he wants. Most of all the ghost stores are there to create an illusion and make the site seem viable to new sellers. The site goals that are stated are meaningless. The store count goes up when Ray choses and will only go down very little from where it is now. Think about it and check for yourself. Would any smart business person pay $9.95 or more to keep less than 50 items in a site that has no traffic. That is $.20 a listing and we all know we can get that elsewhere. Most of those stores are Rays stores and a few of the larger ones as well. As I have said before! see quote below! Quote Ray is a scam artist and here is his scam: 1) start an auction site as an alternative to ebay around the time you think they will increase fees. (did that 2 times now) 2) asume people will be upset with the fee increase (correct) 3) remember ray is a seller and is good at it so what is he selling? 4) because ray is a seller he in no way can see things from a buyers standpoint so he is selling you his site for $9.95 a month to start. That is why the site looks like it does. You are seeing Ray's listing. So it does not matter if you are a seller you are still the buyer you are buying his scam. 5) sellers start buying from each other to make it seem like there is site activity after they have been brainwashed into RAYTHINK. Cha ching (bonus money for Ray) 6) the #'s are fudged to make it seem like there is more activity than there really is. This fudge is done in many ways not just listing count the store count is fudged as well. Probably only 350 real stores. This was started between steps 1 & 2. 7) ad more fees but spend no real money. assume that people will come and go for 1 year or so. Than close the site and make out like a bandit. Another that sums up his exspences. Quote Ray's cost each month dedicated servers provided by BLUEHOST $750.00 hosting fees same $100.00 no more than rent 0.00 basement of his house out of the box software 0.00 paid at startup staff 0.00 needs 1 pc Did you think he needs all kinds of computers to do what he is doing NO! everything is done and handled by his hosting company in Washington state. Even I have more computers going than ray does. If he had employees you would not have to wait to implement the so called upgrades he talks about. Yes there are other fees he payes but they would be spread out over a year and they would be minor. One person can handle everything as it is now he has less than 1000 users in total. It's as simple as that and the truth will set you free!!! WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY X-POPPERS HAVE MADE A DIFFERANCE That is right we have made the differance between success and failure for WP. Our voices beating it into wherever we can on many forums TT and more is why the quotes and facts below will need a little more raythink before he acts. No need to act Ray we won't let it happen for you anyway. From The Revolution Newsletter, November Quote Never doubt the capacity for people to make change where change is needed. Wagglepop is surely proof of that. In 158 days in operation, we have 158,941 current active listings, which averages out to over 1,000 listings per day. That's an incredible rate that speaks volumes about the need for change in the online auction dynamic across the Web, and perhaps for online shopping in general. Sales are similarly increasing at fantastic growth rate, and now average around 1600-1800 each week. Absolutely remarkable. We're going to change and increase our stated goals, simply because we believe that the potential of Wagglepop at this point in time already exceeds our expectations, and has near unlimited potential for growth. Stated goals as of 11/5/06 Quote Date Benchmark Listings (All Formats) Stores** As of 11/5/06 Current 158,841 724 June 2007 "Break Even" 35,000 700*** June 2008 Intermediate Goal 1% 550,000 1,250 June 2009 Site Goal 1.5% 825,000 1,875 November sales Quote PeriodMultiple Item Sales Unique Sales Total Sales 10/30 to 11/05 576 946 1522 11/06 to 11/12 668 902 1570 11/13 to 11/19 472 904 1376 11/20 to 11/26 608 982 1590 As Ray has it today 12/1/06 Quote total stores = 678 (ray's #'s) Total listings = 159,608 (ray's #'s) What was ray talking about in the first quote? Well it is as simple as this the only goal that has changed is the amount that he can scam out of people. It is a sad fact that it is working to some degree. Yes there are people stupid enough to fall for his insite advertising plan (AdSmart, click...click..). If you take what he said for face value he has been wrong the entire month of November. Sales are down, stores are down and the listing rate is way down. He has wasted an entire month on his pocket and that entire month is very important to smart business people. November is a time for growth not contraction. This is the holiday season and not the middle of winter. Also there has been no new updates today to the site. Souldn't the new newsletter come out today and the new wp today? Has anyone noticed that there used to be the word new when there were changes or the newest edition was out on the comunity page? I have and it is funny you don't see that anymore. Maybe poor performance isn't worth the news to Ray. WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY RAY'S NEW GAMEPLAN In case you missed it here is the thread that was started by a few leading cheerleaders so they could talk more freely about WP. http://wagglepopminimall....yfreeforum.org/forum2.php I was the first to find this out of the x-poppers and I am glad that a few have used that forum to speak freely about why they are no longer wp sellers. The reason why I posted that link again is because it helps prove todays wagglefact. If you still have access to the WP forums this fact will explain why it has died there. Very few posts why? Well we all know the answer to that and that is free speach. The forums at WP played a big part in the drop in stores. There were heated discusions about the lack of an advertising plan. In a nut shell it became a problem for ka/ray. The decline of the store count, the lack of answers to questions & etc. Fact: The forums on WP are dead because ka/ray killed them. Why? Because the questions at hand went unanswered & were costing ka/ray money. How does he correct this? Hide the truth!!! By changing the policies he eliminated the threat. Remove all posts that did not agree with raythink. Drive the very people who supported you to a offsite forum (the link above). All questions are now to be handled by customer care. I have asked the questions to CC and the response was a joke, no answers and sometimes no replies. Fact: The boards provided a place to discuss the truth on the site. That is all gone now. the store count has remained steady the past 2 days and is up today. Ray is a smart scammer. If people can't see the truth hide it, This works to his advantage and makes our efforts that much harded. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION |

Subj:Re: more questions...Customer Care - Customer Inquiry Date:12/3/2006 7:34:57 PM Eastern Standard Time From:auction@wagglepop.com To:XXXXX@aol.com Sent from the Internet Hi MXXXX, If you feel you can continue on Wagglepop with a full and clear understanding our our requirements for membership, we are pleased and honored to have you. If you feel that our terms and conditions are not tolerable, we would understand and ask that you start the account closure process. Thanks! Karen - WP Customer Care No...I have asked many times for instructions on how to close this account. I am not paying for services not yet used .... according to my account...I owe more than I should and more than is due. This is the 4th December. I should have the option to close account whenever I choose, not be held hostage by you. and not be held hostage to fees.... not yet due. This is Unfair Business Practices...and has not gone unnoticed. We shall see where this leads....meanwhile I am now informing YOU to close this account. ..and I need a correct name (owner or Attention of address for Wagglepop.. Wagglepop LLC ....with a PO box... Baldwin Place....is not adequate. Your terms and conditions are one sided and dishonest and hold no integrity. if the requirements of membership mean I have to be a snake, dishonest, buy feedback and kiss your ass..and only have an opinion that you have to agree on first..and be sent unprofessional bias emails (I have them all)...then I dont want to be a member...that is not a revolution... that is capitalism... you mention ebay all the time...as bad and as greedy as they are....even they do not treat their sellers as you have done....One thing I can say is and you have not learned yet..and you will..that the revolt will happen. I have also been informed that Classic Kitchens received no reprimand for their reply to my deleted post which in fact..was disruptive. So...your no exemption rule, is not true and I question the ...feedback buying...and altogether question the integrity and honesty of WP in general. It would seem to me that....you are being selective and unfair in your dealings...and billing methods and holding accounts hostage for closure. |

Quote:it's somewhat that "polar opposite" of eBay Smiley polar opposite??? Bang on! eBay despite their drawbacks for sellers still hold the ultimate in traffic. And don't get me wrong - I have no further interest in eBay. I left in July and have never gone back. WP only temporarily benefited from this exodus. The influx of sellers in July/August and the departure of most of them today. Came, didn't conquer, got out of Dodge. Hopefully WP will not experience an influx of panicked/pissed-off seller who blindly grab an olive branch, labeled WP, and think they have found a new, secure haven if/when eBay raise fees in February. Sour taste in the throat of many sellers who were dragged through the first birth of WP (1) coupled with the emerging and rapidly growing negative testimonials from the taste-testers of WP2 will hopefully take the fizz out of WP for those keeping it alive today. Lets form a prayer group... Just kidding!

SOME PAST EMAILS
Hello, Your Wagglepop account balance is overdue. Please sign in to My Wagglepop, and pay your account balance via the Transactions link. Unpaid balances will be sent for collection. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Karen - WP Customer Care cc: legal Subj: Re: Customer Care - Customer Inquiry Date: 11/10/2006 9:38:25 AM Eastern Standard Time From: auction@wagglepop.com Sent from the Internet (Details) Hi Marie, The closure procedure can be found in the Billing and Account Information page in the Help Center Karen~ ----- Original Message ----- To: auction@wagglepop.com Sent: 11/10/06 1:50 AM Subject: Re: Customer Care - Customer Inquiry Mxxxx, I know from personal experience with the feedback and transaction records that those are all legitimate feedbacks. I think I know why you're confused about that: Our feedback system counts ALL feedback, not just uniques like eBay. On eBay, if one buyer leaves 50 feedbacks for a seller, it counts as just one. On Wagglepop, 50 is 50. Karen Karen... I am not confused..if it walks like a duck!!! They may be legitimate...but it is just like paying 10cents-15cents for a feedback...however it is done...it is still not honest...ebay counts uniques ..(not on the main profile) but under the main number column there are another set of numbers where all are counted....I earned my feedbacks there...with my customers...I didnt have to buy any of them or .......(trade feedback for feedback ....without an actual item being sold). All of almost 15thousand in one name and 7thousand in another..and more in a third...I earned them all. I do understand each feedback in wagglepop is counted individual ....and I am not sure if you know this but highlightening as you have done above in your email is not nessassary...I am not an idiot..I am actually a very good seller and do understand quite a lot about selling/feeback/auctions/rips offs and dishonest people...jeez I learned and saw from ebay themselves what unfair business practises really means....they are ahead in that department...dont follow their footsteps..... I still have not gotten over our last emails which I found quite forthright....concerning money I owed...(still do not know what for).....some addy i did not know was checked.....the pay up or else attitude.... anyway...I have been paying this 9.95 and getting nowhere...and no sales...and that is not good...and yes i realize I have little to no listings up right now on Wagglepop...but I had......and had no sales...and for this seller I dont expect hu dreds of sales but knowing my items and my pricing I would have expected a few!!!!....but have had none. Should I decide.....then how do I cancel this 9.95 per month.... regards |
