I haven't seen the showcase store, but it would make sense if they are high dollar items and just looking for extra exposure. But a small store for $9.95/mo for just your basic stuff? Seems odd to me.

It looks like WP is showing signs of the Christmas rush with sells reaching a all time high of 1938 site wide. Which now puts the sell-through rate at an astounding 1.2% bringing much cheering in WP land. Good times are coming for WP. [/quote] We need a smiley that eat's fudge! Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good Morning all,
I see we are still talking about WP. Another day another store gone. I dreamed last night that Wankleland was closed down by the Internet police and that the boards here were full of expoppers trying to figure out why. Then I woke up and raced to my computer, only to find it is still there :blinkie: Princess, amazing isn't it...what you see once you are gone from WP. There are many stores with only one or two items, and many of them have been there a long time. Either they are stores that Raybil opened to keep numbers up or store owners who had no clue how to close them because they never visited the boards.
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom Use it well |

Has anyone who still has an account there noticed that SB no longer uses Kumbaya in his intermittent posts? By the way, he announced that he is NOT leaving WP. I think he will do well there.

And Powerseller sold a bunch of bras and panties to another store seller. My guess is that about 5% of the inner circle cheerleading sellers are making all the sales (by whatever means -- use your imagination) and the rest are sitting around waiting for Godot. Edit: Speaking of SB, after being kicked out of the Best Art/Photograhy on Craig's List contest for "irregularities" in his campagne, I noticed he purchased a book from another WP Seller entitled something like "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Photography." |
