Chain Man is closing his store?
Chain Man has been talking about closing his store for some time now. He alluded to it on PSU and asked where other sellers had set up shop with success. Someone discovered his post and put it here. Ray was lurking the TT boards and read it, I'm sure, and suddenly nothing more was heard from him -- until now. We all assumed Ray had somehow coddled him into staying somehow (because his departure would make a dramatic effect on the listing tote board), but we all knew he would sooner or later get fed up, as nothing was happening and it didn't appear that would change any time this century.
From all his messages on the WP boards, he pretty much hasn't been happy at WP the whole time. He could go and list somewhere for free, and probably get sales, eh? Alskling, did you discover any other sites besides that one that are good for you? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I'm sorry, again for this repost, but it is an absolute classic from a post by Stardust. Since we are resurrecting some of the highlights for newcomers, I thought all would enjoy this classic Ray -- yes, this is the same guy who censors Princess's innocuous poSts and bans her from his site. As you can see, he truly practices what he preaches regarding "courteous, polite, constructive, respectiev" posting. HYPOCRITE!
Ray's in-the-past polite and respectful ebay board postings will suddenly appear somewhere from nowhere He was always constructive, courteous, and respectful on the Ebay boards. His Ebay boards postings followed all his Wagglepop board rules. Quote from: Ray the constructive poster "Day 13 and counting.....Hello? Hello? Come-in ebay....anybody working? What the h*ll are you doing to fix the inability to bulk relist on ebay motors? wait, I know.....N O T H I N G. As usual. No system announcement. Scripted e-mail responses. Live chat conversations that should be bronzed and put into the Comedy Hall Of Fame. Great job, ebay....just keep counting that money, and I'll keep bending over for ya - soon, I think I'll start to like it. You lazy bums. Get off your ass*s today and FIX THE DAMNED PROBLEM!" Quote from: Ray the courteous poster "ha ha ha ha ha! OMG you are not going to believe THIS! The dirty rat bas*ards are RAISING the ebay motors insertion fees! $1.00 to 9.99 is now .35 instead of .30! Holy cripes , these mo****r f****ers got some BIG BIG balls. Jesus. What's next? They gonna come to my house and shoot my cat? So, basically, Im begging STILL for the honor of relisting, just so I can pay MORE. Other than this, I am speechless --- every day something goes wrong or costs more. Ah yes, ebay, the perfect American company: charge more, deliver less, and tell your customer to go screw themselves, with a smile of course! Couldn't be any more disgusted with this lousy company." http://forums.ebay.com/db...rumID=116&x#402021495 Quote from: Ray the respectful poster "Two weeks today. But at least you rotten miserable no good leeches had the nerve to raise my fees 20%. Make sure you change the name too.... ScrewUBay.... Ugh." http://forums.ebay.com/db...rumID=116&x#402057544 Quote from: Ray the anti-spamming poster Sellers... "Looking for new direction in 2005? I have one. E-mail me. Ray " All his posts http://forums.ebay.com/se...omeo361&numResults=15 |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Princess,
I have copied and condensed the article to the link "Wagglepop Sticks Fork in Site: It's Done", so no one new here has to dig to find it. This was the first that really got my attention that my instincts might be on to something. Condensed to touch on the highlights. Quote:Wagglepop CEO Sticks Fork in Site: It's Done Interesting to note that although Ray claims to have destroyed all personal data associated with WP1, a good percentage of the members later claim to have received unsolicited spam emails announcing the opening of the new, improved WP2. How he magically retrieved "destroyed" data remains a deep, dark mystery. Edited to correct minor typos. |
That's kind of scary, Aslsklidng (lol I forget what your name is on here). If it is a cult, and a really good cult, it could be real bad. This is the internet after all. Anyone on X-Pop Nation? I don't want to talk as freely on here as I have been... rather talk to y'all in private.
Have no fear, Princess. WE DO NOT BAN POSTS HERE! I know how hard it is to believe, after living under Ray's tyranny, but you are free to speak as you wish. We'd all love to hear from you.
They even allow my mindless rambling on here.
