Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Okay, I'm on a rant now. That is EXACTLY the attitude they took with a friend that I sent over there. It was after I left, but I still had friends selling. It upset my friend terribly. My friend bought elsewhere from a WP seller but on a different site.
I would die before I would send somebody now. Just look at the way they attack like dogs when someone has a different view. Quote:Hi, For some people, it is against their religion to acknowledge Christmas at all. While it is a very important part in many of our lives, I don't think it is good for business to push your beliefs on anyone else. I think a Season's Greetings or a Happy Holidays would be proper. For crying out loud you stupid poppers - buyers are not trolls. If they are smart, they ask questions and demand answers. How can someone buy something if the stores keep closing like crazy? Stop and think about what you are doing. If you are serious about business, leave. I don't care if someone came into my store with the ID iluvebay, I would still treat them like a valued customer. End of rant.

I guess the point I was trying to make to Powerseller was that even if we acknowledge that SirBuysAlot isn't genuinely an interested potential buyer, there are other potential buyers and sellers who will see those responses and run. People who may never post may be offended by what they read. I guess the drinkers don't care though.

How can SirBuysAlot be a genuinely interested buyer....unless he collects sports cards.

Well, Britney's gone, too, now. Probably their most interesting listing to date.

Well now, isn't that interesting. Britney was listed for 2 days, we start talking about it, point out that the listing violates WP listing policy, and the listing is now closed. Maybe if someone was watching their own site closer and not lurking here so much, that would have been caught sooner
I got this feeling......somebody's watching us

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
On the Wagglepop boards a seller has written "But, I am unable to send money from my Paypal account currently due to selling a Nintendo on another site (with only enough markup to cover my sales tax at that!) I will be unable to send/receive money for at least the 45 days after the payment was received, since it is a high risk item, and the account is completely limited.
Is there a way to make payment without logging into Paypal? Can I enter my Paypal email address on WP, then select that I don't have an account and just make a CC payment? " He/she wants to pay the wagglepop fees and can't from that account. They advise him to open up another account to pay them. If one account is restricted, can he do that without getting in trouble with Paypal? |
