I have said it before and I will say it again for anyone who missed it - nobody wants to click on those ads. It was discussed here earlier and we all felt sorry for the poppers who bought into Ray's latest scheme. We are only here to inform the general public, not harm any misguided sellers at WP. That being said, I feel that the only "outside" person clickety clicking would be Ray himself. No one else would really benefit. Clickety click, the seller runs out and has to refill account - sales or not. [/quote] Why would anybody want to fill Ray's pockets and take away from the sellers? There is only one person that benifits from Adsmart and that person is Ray. If you are taking part in Adsmart to generate more traffic to your store think again. The only traffic or sales on the site is sellers buying from other sellers. It is not like there is this huge crowd of people that you need to stand out in. Take into account that many people have more than one store. There really isn't a big seller base on WP. Why would someone believe they need insite advertising from PPC program is beyond me. I for one would like to see the sell thru rate from the Adsmart program and would further like to know how many of the sales that came from that program were from new buyers. I haven't nor will I ever click one of those ads. I never wish to help Ray run his scam. Not to mention how ka/ray continues to promote the program and place blame elsewhere through the forums on WP. Remember I said a while back that WP is based on the story of the baby bull and the daddy bull? Todays wagglefact will explain this so if you don't know it stay tuned. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network |

I have never seen those ads to be beneficial. Never clicked on one at eBay or anywhere else for that matter. When I am looking for an item, I click on the item. If I see something else scrolling at the bottom of the page or if I want to see more, I go to the seller's store.
Good, crisp photos and concise titles and descriptions are key to drawing attention to an item. Once the attention is on the item, the store link should be visible. Cost - $0.00
I hate stupid people!

Quote:As Wagglepop is a 100% trust-based community, we do not require that any member place any financial information on file in order to buy or sell on Wagglepop. In today's online environment, anything we can do eliminate or minimize potential exposure of sensitive personal or financial information is not only a good idea, it's our responsibility. Does anybody know what day it is? That's right it is: TERMINATION DAY ON WP

Here is a bad WP tune with many apologies to America's Horse With No Name
After joining Wagglepop I was looking at all the listings There were children clothes and sports cards and things There were showcase stores and adsmart and other money drains The first thing I noticed was a forum with many prayers And a post with share your wares After 3 months in the Wagglepop fun I was looking at my wp page And the story it told of sales that never showed Made me sad to think I was fooled by blind faith at my age. You see I've been to Wagglepop and made no sales I don't think I am the only one with this tale At Wagglepop you have plenty of time to brood 'Cause there ain't no one to buy your goods Click, click, click, click, click, click, click Click, click, click, click, click, click, click /wonders how many people will have the Horse with no Name tune stuck in their heads all day
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly

I read posts then curious as to what they are selling and there is no link ...... So whoever needs a a siggy please post here and i wll make them for you free and im sure terry or someone else will be along to help also. After ths i dont wanna catch anyone posting on these boards without a siggy ...got that? lol j/k THIS is reason enough for anyone who sells logos, templates, etc. to leave and it wasn't posted by princess. Despite one popper's claim Sorry couldnt find quote button. I have been reading these boards for a while and someone pointed out this post to me. Just wanted to say the reason behind this thread was to also help other designers on these boards As you see i say terry may be along to help. Hoping she would see this and use it to promote her business. I was creating little siggies not logos and only to drive traffic to my store, or other designers who participated. And at the same time helping new sellers. Anyway I wanted to clear that up for you! I'm an ebay refugee i sell action figure accessories, moved my store to wp, when i started losing money due to fees. After reading these boards and PSU boards the past month i have decided to try a few other venues as well. I'm not here to bash anyone, or any sellers venues, i am here to learn and hopefully upgrade from spaghettio's to hamburger helper. Goodbye ramen noodles! I also updated this link for my fans. http://www.wagglepoppers.com |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Webdreg,
I am an expooper and didn't have any sales, no traffic and was banned for asking questions about advertising, etc. You have been on WP for some time now, honestly how have your sales been? Do you sell enough every month to pay your fees? What do you think of a 24/7 customer care rep? Do you find it odd that Karen is there everyday, every hour without pause? How do you feel about Adsmart and some of the other features that have been introduced at a time when invoicing and other issues need to be addressed? I come here to laugh, visit with others who were part of the bad experience and to hopefully open some eyes. None of us here have any hidden agenda nor do we want to see good business people go under because of the practices that WP uses to keep them paying money and not bringing buyers to them.
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom Use it well |
