Sorry to derail the thread here but I need some help. I am trying to make my own logo. I did the HTML but I don't know how to make it an image file. [/quote] Did you build some kind of logo using HTML? Like text with color? If you have an image editing program on your computer, you could always do a "print screen" to capture the screen with the HTML logo on it. Then paste the screen cap into your image editing program and crop out everything that's not the logo. but--most people make the image file in an image program to start with, like PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, PaintShopPro, or Freehand, etc.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I made it using HTML. I think I am waaaaay out of my league now....I don't even have the software. Oh, well, I'll save it until I figure it out.
One day - maybe - I'll learn enough to start my own site. Thanks

There are several people here who make logos. I make logos / graphic designs, too. One of us is bound to be able to make you something nice. I'll let the people who make logos for a living step forward and offer their services. If they're not able to help out right now, I'll help you out.

Hi Y'all! I just wanted to drop in and post a quick note so you wouldn't think I had just disappeared after my last post. My Mom's in the hospital (doing okay so far) so I'm going to be in and out for the next few days. I'm trying to catch up on reading everything that's been posted in between the two different forums. :blinkie:
It looks like y'all are doing great! Oh and I almost forgot to say...Welcome to the newcomers!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Thanks for all of your help! I'm still learning and get frustrated from time to time. I'm setting up my store at ecrater to open after the kids go back to school. I will set up my own site, once I get my feet good and wet first.
I will persevere -

Quote:agglepopCC1 02 Jan 2007 22:58 Does anyone else see this wording as a tad smothering? BTW Karay, thanks for not using DYNAMIC(S) for well over a week now. Store count 554 but of course we just received the confirmation of why it has started to drop again.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I just hope that the good, hardworking sellers on the site make it. There are so many talented people who offer handmade and truly unique items that I hope will prosper.
It was an awesome place to be, for a while. I have made some good friends and bought some lovely items. It just wasn't good for me in the long run. Good luck to the friends still there.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Fine Things:
I'm trying to get an Ecrater store together, too. I don't have any of those programs Then mentioned, so I'm really handicapped. What I did was put a logo together using MSword, and then printed it out on high-resolution photo paper. I then scanned it into my computer off the scanner bed as a jpg file. It uploaded into eCrater just fine. Don't look for my store yet, though, I just started with it last night, and haven't gotten very far. Quote:Expect site participation numbers to drop during the next 48-72 hour period, as we complete the tasks required to build a complete community where the words "trust" and "responsibility" are fully understood and respected equally for all membership. Does that mean staff membership will drop too, since staff members obvious cannot be trusted and take NO RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever in the success of the sellers. Quote:This review process will lead us directly into the initiatives for limited worldwide expansion and the initial marketing campaign, including a completely new registration and account status system. Oh, I get it. Stricter registration and identity vertification is WP's new marketing campaign. Woohoo! Quote:only those who respect themselves and other membership by fulfilling their membership obligations and operating appropriately in a trust-based environment are invited "memberhip obligations" is a euphemism for "paying your bill" and "trust-based environment" is a euphemism for "automatic account debit." |
