YOHB,
I believe in Karma, and well let me just say what goes around comes around. I have had many great Canadian friends through the years. I even partied with some Mounties in my youth. No one told me that the Canadian beer was stronger. :blinkie: |

WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY
There is something lacking here.
Threshold Feedback Icon 1 -9 points 10 - 49 points 50 - 99 points 100 - 499 points 500 - 999 points 1000 - 4999 points 5000 - 9999 points 10000 - 24999 points 50000 - 99999 points 100000 points + Should be an easy fix Ray. No need to thank me for pointing this out the truth is on me! I am just wondering though. Would this be considered constuctive to point this out? let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network |

WP will be long gone before anyone hits 25K feedback!!! {{{sigh}}} that was fun... |

I just read the last few posts from folks on WP talking about their sales. |

There must have been a flood of closing requests or a lot of delinquent accounts. edited to add: The count is still falling.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Is there a way to get screen shots of the stores, to see who closed? I am just thinking that the item count on the front page is in no way going to reflect the closings. If there is a way to track the stores before closing you could see how many items they have. Also the showcase and featured count will be interesting to watch. I doubt it will drop much, because those fees can make up for a few of the basic ones that close.

Quote:This is a poll I found on another forum. Granted there hasn't been a lot of response yet but it will be interesting to follow. It seems to be missing Amazon, Overstock, Craigslist, and Etsy. Â Quote:WP store count falling fast. TOO FAST to put a # on At this rate they'll hit the 50% closed rate by the weekend. 527 open 412 closed A lot of sellers probably gave WP through the holidays to prove itself and are closing shop now. I don't think Ray is going to get a fee hike exodus of eBay Store owners this month. Â After the uproar over the January 2005 Store fee hikes, eBay took it easy on stores during the January 2006 hikes--and then really hit them in July. Â I don't think eBay will hit Stores with a huge hike so soon after the July one. Â If I had to place a bet, I'd guess that the January hikes will include some form of volume discounts for larger sellers, and possibly fees for using either Express or Half. |
