boinktard WorldAuctions copies eBay front page right down to the IT and gets SUED

I couldn't find it for sale anywhere.  The bidwhale.com name is still for sale at Sedo though.  ;D

When I go to their url it has "inquire about this domain" in the bottom right corner, and pay-per-click ads make up the site.  It almost looks like the kind of page you get when the domain expires, and the registry tries to make money, but it doesn't show a recent expiry.

that's worldauction.com.  The auction site is worldauctions.com

I was amazed at how much the boinktard's site looks like ebay.  They have "My World" as a tab?  Kind of ironic, considering eBay stole it from MySpace, and boinktard stole it from eBay.

Update: online auction users can breathe a sigh of relief, the boinktard's auction site is history. The domain worldauctions.com no longer is an auction site - it is now running a cheap search script and its new name is CommenSense Search v3.4
