I finally dumped CardServices Merchant Account

Enough is enough. I was very excited about CardServices International when I first signed on as a customer. But when they raised my gateway fee to $29.95, I was pissed. CoCard was recommended by my accountant. I liked what I saw so I signed up.

Qualified rate 2.25%
non-qualified 3.24% (and less restrictive than CardServices)
.25 per transaction
Voice auth .75
Chargeback fee $15
Statement fee $5
Gateway fee $0 (yes, zero) IF you are not processing in realtime, $15/mo otherwise. You can still have a shopping cart and process orders manually and not pay a gateway fee.
Monthly minimum $0 (yes, zero). This is especially good if your monthly sales are erratic, ie. tradeshows, fairs..

I'm still on the 15.00/10.00 plan.
I'm like you Bob if they change my shit. I will be pissed and gone.

So far for me so good.. other than the higher rate for corporate cards who purchase.
4.25% I think it is instead of my normal rate 2.39% per transaction.

Now maybe some could see my interest in Google Payments.
If it is fixed across the board and they implement the tools we need
(which I'm hearing the plan too)
and no gateway or min. fees. Well..that's a good deal.

CoCard's rates  seem reasonable. 

My CyberSource rates for their Essentials Plus package are:

Monthly: $34.95 includes gateway, fraud prevention, virtual terminal, all other fees
Discount Rate (Visa, MasterCard): 2.20%
Discount Minimum/month: $75
Transaction Fee: $0.25
