Sell It Mobile allows users to create and manage eBay auctions on cell phones

Attention auctioneers: eBay is going mobile faster than you can say "Sold!" Atseta Inc., last week released Sell it Mobile-eBay edition, a downloadable application that lets you create and manage eBay auctions on compatible cell phones. Next month the company is offering an updated version that will work with all multimedia phones.

"In the next three weeks we are launching a product that is supported across carriers and phone models," said Kacem Boufelliga, Atseta's chief operating officer and co-founder. "The only phone requirement will be to have a good camera. It's a lot to ask people who just want to sell some stuff in their garage to get a phone that works with our applications so we are responding to that."

The new version is not yet named, says Boufelliga, and users will likely pay 99 cents per auction ad, or about the same as a text message. Meanwhile, the initial version of Sell it Mobile-eBay will still be available for $1.99 per listing, $8.99 per month or $99 a year...
