eBay Australia is offering sellers FREE insertion fees for any auction listing that starts at 99c or less. Insertion fees are usually 30c so take advantage of this saving for a limited time only. The promotion will run for one day – Thursday 22nd September, 2005.

The promotion applies to all auction listings that start at 99c or less. This includes Auctions with Buy It Now. Please note that this promotion does not include Dutch (multi item) Auctions, Fixed Price listings, Stores listings and listings of Vehicles and Real Estate.

Promotion Details:

No insertion fees will be charged on Auction listings with a starting price of 99c or less. It’s for one day only: Thursday 22nd September, 2005 from 00:00:01 am to 23:59:59 pm AEST.

    * Popular: A lower starting price can help attract more bidders which can help you achieve a higher selling price!
    * Cheaper: Starting your auction at 99c or under attracts a lower insertion fee on eBay – 30 cents. Auctions starting at $1 attract a 50 cent insertion fee.
    * Effective: Higher sell price and lower insertion fees mean better profits for sellers.

    * Sellers must use auction format on eBay.com.au
    * Auctions must have a start price / starting bid of 99c or less (hereafter known as “99c Auction”)
    * Any 99c Auction listed on eBay.com.au that starts on Thursday 22nd September, 2005 (between 00:00:01 am and 23:59:59 pm AEST) qualifies.
    * 99c Auctions created during the promotional period stated above, but scheduled to start after the promotional period are not eligible for free insertion fees.
    * The promotional rate does not apply to listings that started prior to the free listing day, which are revised during the promotional period to have a lower starting price.
    * 99c Auctions created prior to September 22, 2005 that are scheduled to start during the promotional period will be eligible to receive the promotional rate.
    * 99c Auctions in all categories except Vehicles and Real Estate qualify.
    * Store listings, Fixed Price listings and Dutch (Multi item) Auctions do not qualify.
    * If you add Buy It Now to your 99c Auction you will receive free insertion fees but please note that you will still be charged the usual 10c for utilising the Buy It Now listing upgrade.
    * 99c Auctions listed in 2 categories qualify.
    * 99c Auctions re-listed during the promotional period qualify.
    * 99c Auctions created using Turbo Lister and other listing tools qualify.

Insertion fees will not be charged on 99c Auctions. All other fees including insertion fees on Auctions starting at $1 or more, final value fees, listing upgrade fees, subscription fees and PayPal fees still apply. Read about eBay’s fees.
