The Real eBay: corporate greed forces mom of 2 onto Welfare Rolls

I just wanted to give a big thank you to the moderator of this group!
I've been very depressed lately after Mr. Cobb's announcement. I run
an eBay store out of my home, and these recent fee increases of 500%
have effectively destroyed my business. I am a widowed mother of one
toddler and one severely disabled teenager; both need round-the-clock
care, so despite being a hard-working, well-educated woman, about the
only job available for me is eBay Stores.

Let me say right now that I don't expect anyone, least of all eBay, to
support me. I've always worked very hard to support myself, and
provide for my children. But these recent, incomprehensible changes to
eBay's policies have pretty much destroyed any hope I had of making
ends meet. With only about a month left to run my business before the
ripples of Cobb's foolish decisions shut it down, I will finally have
to apply for welfare--something I've been trying to avoid for years--
and probably even move in with relatives.
