Re: Websites with highest visitor-to-buyer conversion rates
It can't be coincindence that Lane Bryant, KingSize, and Lands End lead the pack. My new policy is to never say anything controversial, but is it possible that their customers share a commonality? Like maybe they are so daft when it comes to fashion, that fit and fabric just plain don't matter. I mean, if you're going to wear your basic plaid country bumpkin burlap bag, I'm guessing you might as well buy the first thing you click.

Of course, the Proflowers make sense, because it's how men make up for their mistakes. No point wasting a lot of time on it.

The commonality is that many of the leaders with the exception of the flower sellers have print catalogs.  The customers are probably selecting the merchandise in the catalog, or when watching QVC, and then ordering it on the Internet.

Oh! Yes! That's a good possibility too. Actually, it's probably more likely.

I'm sure the conversion rates they're receiving from organic/sponsored search visitors are much lower than their overall  conversion rate.
