The US Supreme Court said that P2P companies are in breach of existing laws by encouraging the infringement of copyright.

Quote:Our guess is that some will go legit and others will now begin a merry-go round of moving offshore, being blocked from US viewing and then suing to be unblocked

Sounds like China's censoring of content its citizens are allowed to see.  Wonder what else Americans are blocked from seeing because corporate America or some political interest group objected to it?  :o

A List of Bad Sellers to Avoid This Holiday Season and Boycott in the New Year
A List of Bad Sellers to Avoid This Holiday Season and Boycott in the New Year

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

:hoxmassanta12: :hoxmassnow32: :hoxmassleigh11: :hoxmassanta22: :hoxmassanta46: :hoxmasm11:

This bit of advice from p2pnet.net:
Quote:Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don't buy their 'product'. as a stocking stuffer or anything else over Christmas. Do bug your local political representatives. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you're into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep's doorstep, making sure you've contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance.
