I don't recall ever seeing her make such a "cut through the crap" post.  Of course, coming from a "Oh, I have OTHER Id's that I sell on, too!" cheerleader.  (EDIT)  That should read "responding to", not coming from!  (end EDIT)

KUDOS Katiyana!   Occasion14

Quote:Drat I missed a closing tag - sorry - I self-reported and will repost correctly this time (I Hope)

"It may not be nice to hear if you are one of the people that come here and cry about how you aren't making any sales, yet refuse to promote your store or do anything to improve your business."

I think its unfair to presume ...

Apparently, you presumed to know what my post meant. I did not say that everybody that complains about declining sales are also not promoting their stores, just some."

I didn't say that your comments were directed towards "everybody" who complains. My point was you can't know what they are and aren't doing to market their stores - you can see aspects of it, but there are definitely aspects you can't see without doing some research, and some aspects you might not be able to see at all.

Unless you have access to a users' complete marketing plan, you have no basis to make a judgement that a user is making enough of a marketing effort to "qualify" them to complain with poor results.

Please tell us, what checklist of marketing and promotional activities do you use to determine which sellers are in this category of "some" that you feel aren't doing enough to entitle them to complain?

I'm serious - I want to know where you're drawing this line in the sand.
