Greetings fellow auction users!

Here we are, just weeks ahead of our membership drive! All is good at AP. We've gotten a lot of good responses following our recent announcement that AP will no longer be seeking to become a co-operative auction site. Not to say that we haven't had some negative feedback, but overall the decision was met with open arms from the majority of our subscribers. Since then we have seen a growth in the number of new subscribers and guestbook signers on our site. We will be providing details of our membership policies and terms and conditions in upcoming issues of our newsletter. Within the next week or so the site will be fully revamped. It is currently being updated and bits of our old site still remain. All of that will be changed to reflect our new direction. It's an exciting time here at AP. We're positive that Auctionpie will prove to be an outstanding resource for all members of the online auction community. The future of Auctionpie shall be determined by the number of folks who are still willing to back us during this huge transformation. Help us to grow and thrive as one of the Internet's most reliable Auction sites. Tell a few friends and have them tell a few friends. Auctionpie is being built by sellers, for sellers such as yourself. We welcome each and every one of our newest subscribers and want to thank all of our regular subscribers for being so supportive.

Hi Fellow Sellers!


It's been awhile! Alot of things have happened in the last month or so and we just want to let you know that Auctionpie is alive and well. We are also redifining ourselves.

We have seen Gegygate which we warned many of you about and have seen changes in our industry. Auctionpie is searching for its place just like most of you are.
We will be pushing back our membership drive until at least October. We don't want to come out with some inferior software or a system full of bugs. We also don't want any of your money until we can offer full value for your support!
It seems that Online Auction Sellers are splintering off into differnt groups and organizations. This can be good but we need a central place to meet and build from within.
In the next six months I see Sellers having to face futher challenges in higher fees and prices on Ebay and across the board.
Auctionpie is going to work as an advocate for sellers rights and injustices. If you need help email us and we may be able to do something.
If you want to help email us too. We really need someone that can work HTML and help keep our site updated so that we can communicate with you more often.
We also will be accepting articles and interviews. Check out our current one with Leah Wesolowski who has organized a boycott of Ebay.

What is Auctionpie.com about?

A year ago Jamie Gilcig, founder of Auctionpie, was involved in trying to build an Online Seller's Co-op. For many reasons market conditions then and now didn't support that goal; however many of the ideals and philosophies have been built into Auctionpie!

Auctionpie is about building a safe and stable platform from which sellers can build their online Auction and Fixed price sales businesses.

Today many of the larger sites goals are based on their stock price, large overheads, and fees paid to Corporate Gunslingers. Auctionpie is run by people who sell online for their incomes, just like you. We also know that your voices are what will make Auctionpie work and will be the difference between Auctionpie and these sites.

There are many pressures on Sellers today. We all need all the help we can get. Auctionpie is going to do that by being a place that you can build your company from!

Why Auctionpie?

Today most sellers have the option of fee based sites or free sites. There are many options to choose from and we at Auctionpie think that to have a vibrant marketplace is a good thing. We are never going to suggest that you leave your current sites. We think that sellers should help many.

And they can do this with Auctionpie as their hub.

Auctionpie will be a subscription based site. As a seller you will only have to pay one very reasonable monthly fee to place auctions and fixed price items for sales. No listing fees, no Final value fees, no five cents for buy it now, no payment for bolding or placement, no free for a few months promotions.

The idea is to keep it simple.

Auctionpie also will never tell you not to advertise your other auctions on other sites or that you can't have a link to your homepage. We encourage you to do so! We want you to be able to depend on Auctionpie as your home base. We want this industry to be as successful as we want our own businesses to be as this can only benefit everyone!

Amazon had good reason for screwing him over, anyway. He's quite possibly the worst seller / buyer on the net. Well, maybe second to PirateGirl's stalker.

Stardust--sorry for not going into more detail. Jamie is a sicko.

Just goes to show you that the feedback system is all relative. I would't buy from him because I know him, but other people with 4-ish feedbacks on Amazon haven't done me any harm (and hopefully haven't harmed their pets).
