Bidville Bans International Sellers, uBid Advertises Bidville to uBid's 4M users
Promotional email #1:
uBid sent an email to all 4 million plus uBid members announcing Bidville this morning.

Promotional email #2
Bidville newsletter sent to Bidville members today

Quote:New Management Team has Exciting Plans for the Future of Bidville.com.

Bidville.com is pleased to officially announce our new ownership! In July, Bidville.com was purchased by uBid.com Holdings Inc. and after a few months of reorganization within the company, a new management team has been built to run Bidville.com.

The new Bidville team has big plans for the site. We are making changes that will make both buying and selling on Bidville.com easier. We are very excited as we continue to grow the community by increasing the number of buyers, individual sellers and storefronts!

Bidville.com is glad that you are a part of our community, and rest assured; the new management team will always keep the best interests of its members in mind, while improving and promoting the site.

Bidville.com's New Security Steps Help You
Enjoy Worry Free Shopping!

Bidville.com has added new security methods to better verify sellers and prevent online fraudsters.

Bidville recently launched a new process to authenticate sellers using their credit card account. Before selling any products, new sellers must verify the amount Bidville.com charged to their credit card account (between .00 – .75). This technology is BRAND NEW to Bidville.com, and is an extremely effective tool to deter potential sellers using fraudulent or unauthorized credit cards.

View the NEW steps in our secure registration process! Learn how to become a verified bidder or seller today!

Another way We are Making Bidville a More Secure Place to Shop and Sell –

Bidville.com is no longer allowing International Sellers use of its platform for selling products. IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY SELLING PRODUCTS INTERNATIONALLY ON BIDVILLE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL STAY ACTIVE. International buyers will continue to be able to register and bid on the site.

*Remember: as a member you have the right deter international bidders
by setting your SAFE settings to reflect this decision.

I don't think you'll lose any potential buyers. How many uBid buyers do you think will be rushing to Bidville to buy 10 cent baseball cards and "gently worn" children's clothing with grass and pee stains on it?  :Smile
