osCMax Uploading Images Issue
Some images are refusing to upload. I had one last night and another this morning. The image sizes are mostly all the same so I know that's not it.
I don't THINK I broke anything this time because most images ARE uploading...just a pesky few won't. Any ideas what could cause this? |

Re: Uploading Images Issue
If so check the extentions. i.e JPG may be getting changed to jpg
Also when making a catagory and then editing it later. If you uploaded an image for the catagory itself. You need to do it again or it wont take. I'm talking about from the oscmax side here on that issue.

Re: Uploading Images Issue
Not using FTP. I'm doing it one by one right now because I am changing a lot things in my listings
I'm just clicking "browse" and trying to get the image from my computer's picture file. Most are going thru OK but 2 have refused to upload. |

Re: Uploading Images Issue
I was having issues while using fire fox browser when interfacing with some features at the admin.
Try using different browsers and double check that the files you are uploading extensions are not changing from jpg to JPG or visa versa. (for example) Also if you are editing php files. Some HTML editors will cause strange characters. Make sure yours is not doing that or use a stable text editor that WILL NOT change characters in those altered php files.

Re: Uploading Images Issue
Well, I still don't know what the problem is. No biggie...just a small pain in the ass and a curiosity.

Re: Uploading Images Issue
You could be getting a stale page too when looking at stuff.
Try and (I know) toss your cookies and clear your what ever. Another trick (had to do this on other servers) Rename the pics in question on your computer and re upload them. After you have confimred the new ones are working. Delete the OLD ones' on the TT side then you can re name the new ones you just made back to the original names. The whole thing is probably Regic just screwing with stuff to look busy anyway. At your expense. ;D
