I find this topic fascinating. A part of me is in disbelief that we (the American voters) have allowed this to happen and really protest very little. It's as though we have all thrown up our hands and proclaimed the crooked pols/parties the winners.
A part of me is yelling, "REVOLUTION"!!!
For weeks after the stolen election in 2000, I woke up daily, certain that the American people would rise up in protest. An idealist is me. Sad to say, we, including myself obviously, have decided to simply "go with the flow"
.
I wonder what this country will look like in 20 years.

Not yet but I heard about it on an Air America radio talkshow. I went and voted, we have paper ballots thanks to a grassroots organization who managed to get rid of electronic machines. Funny story, when we signed in they had my husband listed twice on the voter rolls. The volunteer lady freaked out and another helper told her to make a note to reflect the duplication.  :blinkie:

I told my husband you should have voted twice, that way if they lose one of your ballots you have a backup.

I wish that the entire country would go back to paper ballots. I suspect they would give us far more accurate election results.
