HELP! Any FireFox 2.0 User...

I'd be forever in debt (ok, that's stretching it!) for someone using FF 2.0 to go to one of our product pages and add an item to the shopping cart and report any warnings (or errors, if that should be the case) that pop up.

i did as directed,    and a certificate warning page popped up.

However, I tried it 2 more times and no warning occurred.

Website certified by an unknown authority popped up twice after I added the item to the cart.  Firefox isn't recognizing the SSL cert.

I wonder if BCentral is using one of the new Extended SSL certs which are unsupported by Firefox.

Google Checkout also has some problems with a few SSLs when Firefox is used.

EDIT:
MSN AdCenter is incompatible with Firefox and Opera too.

The AdCenter errors w/Firefox and Opera are the same as with your store - unrecognized SSLs

Since no one's mentioned Opera yet, we decided to give that a try. Here's the warning box that Opera tossed up immediately when accessing the adcenter.msn.com URL:

Certificate signer not found

- The certificate for "adcenter.msn.com" is signed by the unknown Certificate Authority "Microsoft Secure Server Authority". It is not possible to verify that this is a valid certificate

Yep... that's what I suspected.  A user has to manually "accept" the certificate because the chain, in mozilla's opinion, is broken.  This isn't a new problem, actually.  FF 1.5 (and all other mozilla-based browsers) have the same issue with bcentral's SSL. 

The standards written for SSL authorities are interpreted by Microsoft and Mozilla differently... I'm not really sure just "who" is correct, but it would seem bcentral clients are in the middle of a pissing match between IE and Mozilla, because nothing has been done about this in the 2+ years that it has been a known problem.

Ahh well...  I just wanted to see if it had changed.  When I installed FF 2.0, I didn't get the warning, but I assume that's because it "remembered" my settings from FF 1.5 (even though I installed it in a different directory).
