Lol, sort of.   They were doing a group gang-bang on Ross's girlfriend and I defended her. They weren't all that bad. They just really dislike her and I think a lot of it is jealousy. It was the women, not the men.  :

I agree 100% with Jen on this.  Republicans aren't Republicans anymore.  No one to vote for and completely forktongued in many instances.  I only cast 5 votes this election, out of a long front/back page ballot.  And one was just to try to keep out who I considered the worst of the two evils for our congressional district. 

Neither party has any really outstanding members in line for the leadership of this country, that I can see. There are a few minor shadows in the wings, but no one stands out far beyond the rest.

Jen I don't believe Bush and many of those close to him represent Republicans either. Many GOP members I know are disgusted with the current administration for moving so far from the core ideas of the party. Many of the democrats who won this go round are very conservative and not in the liberal camp either, including two reps who are pro-life. My grandfather ran for a seat in the Texas legislature in the late 1930's. He was a farmer and a schoolteacher. He didn't win but for a poor farmer from West Texas he did pretty darn good.
When he passed away the Capitol building flew the flag at half mast in his honor. He was a democrat.

Damn it! I knew there was something familiar about his name other than the CIA connection!
I worked in DC during the Iran-Contra scandall---actually, both my X#1 and my FIL worked in the Pentagon. What a frickin mess.

Leave it to Bush to nominate/appoint yet another ethic-less  mileyazwipe: to a high office.
