Overstock cancels Trusted Merchant program name but not its benefits
BuySafe announcement:
Quote:Dear buySAFE Merchant, Overstock announcement: Quote:We appreciate the opportunity we have had to honor you as one of the most trustworthy sellers online. However, because buySAFE is becoming known as a brand you can trust in the auction community, we have decided to discontinue the Overstock.com Trusted Merchant Program. Overstock.com Auctions will continue to promote Bonded Merchants in our site's integrated search. We also plan to prominently display the buySAFE icon and information throughout your listings. |

Quote:As a buySAFE Merchant on Overstock.com Auctions, you will continue to benefit from: I don't care what it's called as long as I continue to receive inclusion in the main shopping search. |

[/quote] Ditto. They can call the program whatever they want. As long as my items remain in front of the 10 million monthly visitors on the main site, I'm happy. The only change is one less annoying graphic cluttering the pages.

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |
