A team of European Union-funded scientists are aiming to have robot nurses bustling around hospital wards in as little as three years. The robots will perform basic tasks such as mopping up spills, taking messages and guiding visitors to hospital beds. They could also distribute medicines and even monitor the temperature of patients remotely with laser thermometers...

The first nightmare that I can remember having as a kid was about robots. I don't think I want a nurse who is going to give me nightmares.
