We have received numerous inquiries and offers over the years for this premium, highly recognizable domain name, but an open and public online auction seemed the most fair and democratic approach to its sale.

On the exact day this auction ends, two full years of George W. Bush’s presidency will still be ahead of us.  This domain name has never been developed or associated with any group, website, product, or movement, though its applicability as a focal point for fundraising, awareness raising, or commercial development is self-evident. 

The “dot.com” domain name format has long been the gold standard.  With no previous web development effort, “impeach bush” apparently generates millions of hits on major search engines:

Any group looking to be setup as a non-profit that is looking to change the politics of the world needs to take advantage of the 501©3 tax exempt status and having that status means you should use a .org extension on your domain name and not the .com extension.

This name could be used by any democratic Pac committee, a non-profit looking to actually use the rights our forefathers gave us to move to impeach President George Bush or create public awareness for a President with the worst public rating in history. In addition, anyone typing in President Bushes name or the word impeach would quickly be taken to the website because of the words in the domain name itself.

In addition, Scott Neuman is donating 30% of the final selling price of impeachgeorgebush.org to his favorite charity, Rotary International . With a buy it now price of $30,000, Rotary International has a possibility of receiving $10,000 from the sale of the name.

Why would anyone buy the .com name? What a waste of $.

The .org name is also a useless purchase. Bush is not going to be impeached in this lifetime (most unfortunately). :

I heard a Canadian radio station talking about the worst possible nightmare: Jeb    Bush running in '08 or more likely '12, or as VP in '08. Their so-called expert thought it quite possible, particularly if George starts pulling down troop levels in Iraq before the election.

The other side of approval ratings is that 28% (or whatever it is) of the American people still think he is doing a good job!

I am still hearing that we have to fight in Iraq becaise of 9-11 --- People somehow still believe that Saddam hit the towers.  If you lie big enough and often enough it becomes the "truth".  (Particularly if you dumb down the educational system and feed the kids ritalin).
