Forgive my dreamweaver ignorance, but are DW extensions server-side?
FG, I'm not exactly sure what "server-side" means. However, I do know that some DW extensions use server behaviors and some don't. Actually, ecart is the first extension where I've had to designate a server behavior. Hope that helps a little, lol. |

I like this WebAssist store http://www.sincero.nl/
I'm suspicious about just WHAT exactly a "winkelwagen" is. I bought eCart a while ago, and now regret it. I thought I was Jack buying the magic beans, but found out I was Jack buying Jack. Basically eCart might be OK for DreamWeaver designers who want to program without programming, but it's no substitute for programming. Incidentally, server-side is the stuff that happens on the server, while client-side is the stuff that happens in the browser. PHP, Apache, MySQL, Linux, etc, are all server-side. HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc, are client-side. |
