Actually, you just brought up an issue that I hadn't thought about - owners of more adult-type businesses, like Pipi or MST. Their sites may be offensive to some (like momandchild), so the sectioning off was to keep the easily-offended out and those that have issues they need to figure out with their business in. It's not a porn section - but I did need to post that anything requiring age verification did not belong in there. When I'm hosting sites as diverse as "home ecstasy kits" to homeschooling resources, the definitive sectioning off seems prudent.

So, as a support forum, you showed me an area where I wasn't offering support to a couple of my customers. Like I've said before, EZ is more of a support forum than an overall ecommerce discussion forum. Heck, most of the support seems to happen via PMs anyways.

The MPAA & FCC have been dealing with this sort of thing for a while. Of course not everybody agrees with the specifics of the decisions, but in general it seems like there should be a happy halfway between between kindergarten and Larry Flint.

I think that if you deal in ecommerce and participate in forums and what not you are going to come across some "offensive" material. It is unavoidable. Catering to those who are offended by such sites makes them come to expect it everywhere.

I know there are word censors on certain forums, and even though I am not for them, I am not going to have a hissy fit because they are there. There are bigger things to hissy fit over.
