This painting was done using traditional Chinese brush techniques, on soft, fragile white rice paper. The rice paper has then been wet mounted onto a strong, sturdy piece of bright white paper for strong colors and long life.

Three plump, shiny green gourds begin to ripen as summer draws to an end. They're kinda phallic (hee hee) and they dangle from a healthy, layered vine with fat leaves.

Painting is signed with my artist name chop (square); An Rui Ning, and my mood seal "The Way to the Tao is not difficult"

Size: 14" x 8 1/2"
