Quote:Well if feebay would do this they would save a lot of ching. Doubtful. Amazon has a large customer service staff while eBay's customer support is one person manning the canned email generator program. :twistedevil: http://www.networkworld.com/news/2005/04...consi.html

Re: America Online to Lay Off 700 Employees
eBay's customer support is one person manning the canned email generator program.

I'm still getting pretty good customer service from Amazon, but I think they have outsourced to India as well... going by some of the names signed on e-mail exchanges. Anyone know for sure?
just announced: Amazon to open second India tech centre http://www.indiadaily.com/breaking_news/49388.asp
Darn! I'll be singing their praises just a little bit less now. Dirtbags. |

Amazon LOL.
I have an account with them . Sold a few things here and there. I WON'T have any shopping company hold my funds for any reason.. In short Amazon SUX too.

I don't mind Amazon holding the funds because they don't play with their customers money like PayPal does. You can also transfer the money to your bank account at any time.

Re: America Online to Lay Off 700 Employees
I didn't know that.
I was under the impression you had to ship and then they (Amazon), gave you your money from the sale they collected from your customer, with their payment system. The few items I sold all paid me direct because I told them to or they hit a "Cart" button I had on the page. LOL I'm not knocking Amazon, just any "third party" that wants to hold the $$$ earmarked for me. I just don't like that kind of set up. Buy from ME... Pay ME... And ME will send the item you bought.

Re: America Online to Lay Off 700 Employees
Im sorry Anita. :-\
Ihope I didnt offend any Amazoners. I just say that because I have not had much luck at all on the River and dont like any company that "Forces" its users to only use their payment system. I can see were it can make for a truly safe environment for buyers. But when someone buys from me. I WANT MY MONEY NOW Darn It.
