Etsy to reimburse sellers for overdraft charges

We are still waiting to hear back from Citibank about the bug in their system that caused both a charge & a pre-auth to be sent to a portion of Etsy sellers who used a debit card to pay their Etsy bill.

If this situation has caused your bank to assess an overdraft charge on your account, we will reimburse you for this amount.

Please email billing @ etsy.com with documentation of the overdraft charge, and we will send you via Check or PayPal a reimbursement for the full overdraft charge.

Kindly note that this reimbursement is only for Etsy sellers who used Debit cards and whose banks hit them with an overdraft charge as a result of our Etsy fees being charged in duplicate to your account (as a result of a bug in Citibank’s system). If you were not affected by the double-charge bug, we are not offering a refund for overdraft charges at this time.
