Merchants Report Massive Problems With PayPal Subscription Payments

I had around 50 subscriptions payments due on August 30th and none of them have come in so far. They usually come in around 2 AM .. and now it's August 31st already! Anyone else faced this issue?

I hope the old recurring payment have not stopped working due to the launch of new API.

Starting during the maintenance of August 30th, NONE of my subscribers have been able to complete their subscription attempts.

We use a web form to gather simple information from our customers on our website, and php to calculate the particulars of their subscription, which generates a dynamic PayPal button on our site.  They click the button to be taken to PayPal, where they login, review the subscription details, and finalize the subscription by clicking PAY.

Since the maintenance on the 30th, they all arrive at PayPal's website, with the correct subscription information filled-in, but when they click PAY they wind up on a blank page with a CLICK TO RETRY link, and no subscription is processed.

This is especially damaging to us, as we rely on first-of-the-month billing.

Two days of lost business is not good for us...

It took PayPal a day to realize its upgrade to the site last Thursday had apparently caused a glitch in its Subscription Payments program. Website owners were getting no payments from PayPal for automated subscriptions, and they were without money or answers for 3 days. PayPal posted on its blog on Sunday it had fixed the glitch...
