First media, now toys. Is Ebay moving towards category specific pricing? Will it be implemented on the US site?

Re: eBay UK: reduced listing fees in Photography, Toys and Games categories
Category specific pricing would be a definite improvement in many categories (MEDIA ) but it wouldn't be enough of an incentive for me to start listing on eBay--eBay needs to adopt an Amazon style monthly subscription plan if they want my business...and the monthly charge would need to be the same or lower than Amazon.

Quote:Category specific pricing would be a definite improvement in many categories (MEDIA : ... :twistedevil: eBay already has category specific pricing for media sellers in the US...it's called Half.com. :imptongue: I doubt if they'll introduce reduced media listing fees on the .com site like they did in the UK and Germany UNLESS they finally decide to pull the plug on Half..
