Help! I made my first international sale.........
I sold a product to a buyer in Germany, and I am trying to figure out the least expensive way to ship a small, lightweight necklace. I did not charge for shipping because it is a promo item for my shop, therefore I do not want to spend more than I have to. I am totally confused by the shipping stuff-----my right-brained persona just does not want to get it!
I plan to ship using a gift box inside a bubble mailer. Any thoughts? Also, are there issues with shipping jewelry internationally? |

Re: Help! I made my first international sale.........
USPS 1st Class International is the cheapest for packages under 4 lbs.
You can print out a customs form here if the value is under $400: http://webapps.usps.com/customsforms/sen...ipient.jsp or you can get one at the P.O. Quote:Also, are there issues with shipping jewelry internationally? India and a few other countries have prohibitions on certain types of jewelry. There's a list of all countries here and their customs regulations, shipping rates here: all countries: http://pe.usps.gov/text/imm/immctry.htm Germany: http://pe.usps.gov/text/imm/fh_011.htm#ep1379549 |
