THE world’s biggest online marketplace eBay has revamped its Philippine site, offering local buyers and sellers more features, including a better search tool to help them find what they want faster.

“Many of the new capabilities were not available on the old eBay.ph site,” said Sam McDonagh, director for eBay Southeast Asia, who was in town last week to introduce the revamped site. “And the good news is, it’s still free to register, buy and sell on eBay.”

Unlike the original eBay.ph that was launched in 2004, the new site enables buyers to search for products by category, seller or location, McDonagh said....
