North Carolina eBay Store Owners Arrested For Selling Counterfeit Golf Equipment

Quote:After a two-month investigation by North Carolina and federal officials, two North Carolina men were arrested last week on charges of counterfeiting golf gear, including Titleist golfing accessories, according to a press release from the North Carolina Secretary of States office.

Donald G. Fondrie, 70, and Warren E. Fondrie, 47, both of Vass, N.C., were charged with two felony counts of possessing counterfeit trademarked goods with intent to sell those goods.

The two men allegedly imported the fake goods from Asia and then resold them through a store site on eBay, according to the release...
