Alibris to expand ADS (Alibris Distribution Services) to more sellers

Do you have inventory piling up that you don't have time to accurately price, let alone list for sale? Do you ever have to pass up the opportunity to buy such inventory due to lack of storage and time? Alibris has an inventory management solution that could greatly expand your business.

In the last quarter of 2007, we initiated a new program called Alibris Distribution Services (ADS). This service provides storage, cataloging, pricing, and shipping services for enrolled ADS sellers, and links them with the comprehensive logistical services and tools within our distribution center in Sparks, Nevada.

Due to the success of the program's pilot phase, we're now expanding it to a broader group of interested sellers, for whom there are no direct out-of-pocket costs. Alibris covers 50%–100% of domestic inbound shipping costs (based on shipment size and distance, any excess charges are held on account), and then catalogs and stores books that meet our condition and selling standards for a one-time fee of US$0.75 per book. Commission on sales is set at 25% across all channels, and inventory is listed with every Alibris partner channel. There are no fees for books not accepted into inventory.
