Isn't eBay violating its own policy which prohibits linking to other auction sites?

Amazon ads on eBay:

It's possible that one of the reasons Amazon is gaining on eBay in unique visitors and other metrics is because Amazon is now advertising on eBay. In doing a search for iPods on eBay this morning, we noticed a big leaderboard banner for Amazon above the search results (that actually made us question which site we were on for a second)...
