Re: Amazon Affiliate Stores
Oh ok so that's what they look like you just put up a page
and a couple of products? hmmm I thought the site would be more complex looking, but if you can sell products with just a simple page go for it. Does the Tulip Marketshare belong to the people who own this site? Is there a fee to sign and have an Amazon AStore? |

Re: Amazon Affiliate Stores
Amazon Astores are free and there is no limit to the number you can create.
There are also several scripts that allow you to create an Amazon affiliate store on your own website. Here's one script and several sites that use it. http://www.theeasystore.com/live_amazoneasy_sites.php You're unlikely to make any real money with a standalone Amazon affiliate site whether you use an Amazon hosted Astore or a script on your own site. The best way to make money with Amazon's affiliate program is to add selected products to your site that compliment your existing target audience's interests. Example: you own a forum or blog about gardening - add a few gardening related books and products. This About.com article gives a 15-step method to generate revenue's from Amazon's affiliate program by installing WordPress and writing a product reviews blog: http://entrepreneurs.about.com/od/homeba...iliate.htm |

Re: Amazon Affiliate Stores
Good morning!!!
And thanks for the information but I think I'll still go for the stand alone store. How can I blog about products I've never used? I think I just might try both. Can you arrange your products in any order you want in an Amazon store? |

Re: Amazon Affiliate Stores
I've never tried theeasystore, but have used http://www.associate-o-matic.com/ (AOM)
I have built stores with them and had a little success, by little meaning I have sold about half as much as I need to get a commission check. I never had any success with the A-store format though, because everything is identical to thousands of other stores. The AOM script though gives a pretty easy template editor, as well as different descriptions than the other thousands of A-Stores. They also have a free script that doesn't allow shoppers to build a cart on your site, but redirects straight to Amazon when they add it to their cart. The full version looks just like a regular website, only sending you to Amazon after you have added everything and select "checkout."
"Listen up Mother****er. Try that bulls*** here and I will hand you and your head in a basket"
- Ray Romeo's alter ego Andrew Pittino responding when I signed up a new account on Wagglepop to verify the non-existence of a way to opt out of his sharing my information with third parties. |

Re: Amazon Affiliate Stores
Thanks xwpopper!! I'll give the o-matic a look as well.
I just signed up with Amazon Affiliate today and I think I messed up already!!! You'll receive another email from us officially welcoming you to the Program once we've reviewed your Web site. What website? I don't have a website!! When I signed up they asked to name the site, I thought I was naming my aStore. Do you have to have a site/blog first to sell Amazon products? Will my application be rejected? |
