PR Log (Press Release) – Dec 23, 2009 – For the 2nd, or is it the 4th time the auction site has changed names in an apparent attempt to find it niche in the alternative eBay market, 1st it was some kind of classifieds, then it was profitsharingauctions.com, then showbidz.com and now scottydo.com owner Scott Christianson can't seem to make up his mind, or any one else’s. Plagued with problems with current and former business associates, Scott seems to be running into road blocks at each turn. Using what his call a unique approach to the eBay alternative auctions Scott stumbles upon what he calls his ticket to fortune profit sharing with his auction site. members, are prompted to join and for each referral, they begin to earn money by sharing in the profits of the company. example, I join, and refer Chuck, Chuck list some products and makes a few sales, well I am entitled to a share for referring Chuck, and a percentage of Chucks sales, and if I am lucky and chuck makes a few referrals and they make sales then I  am in the money, problem is 1st for the last 6 years and countless name changes this site has never made a sale, 2nd the old term for this is pyramid scheme.
Now when Scott reads this he will be up in arms, and when asked about all this he has all the right answers, my ex partner is a crook, he has a criminal background, my wife chose the name, I didn't know the last name I used was already taken and got bad advise.  But wait a minute that’s not the question that was asked, the question is why haven't you made any sales in 6 years, why do you keep changing names, and for goodness sake Scott, what does an ex partners criminal background have to  do with your current pyramid schemes.


Although you never mentioned why your always yelling about your ex partners background, but never do explain why you not he is under criminal investigation for chargeback fraud, and your position as an air traffic controller is being investigated because of you instability. Yes, Scott is an air traffic controller who can’t seem to keep his mind straight., his decision making is questionable and his ability the rationalize under stress is a definite problem. Myself I would no feel comfortable flying in any aircraft where he is in control of the flight path, but then again when asked it always seems it is some one else’s mistake, or misdeed that has put him in this position.

As of this date, Scottydo.com has a few members, with a few products listed, and this site is destined for the graveyard along with all the other wananbees. Got to give Scott some credit, he has given it a lot more time and effort than most . 6 years without a sale and he is still plugging away. What does this tell you about Scott, most people would get a pat on the back but this Scott is a real character. if you read his forums, or the posts on the internet he is always complaining or blaming others for hism mishaps, he his also quite good and changeing your focus from your concerns to his complaints. So for the time being it might be a good idea to saty away from scottydo.com or what ever new name he comes up with today

There is one extremely important legal difference between the companionship/escort services/prostitution listings on IslandSwapMeet and those on Craigslist.  When escort services are offered on Craigslist, Craigslist is "only a venue" and is protected from prosecution by USC § 130 (the ISP immunity law).  Idiot Scott however has listed himself as the seller and thus has absolutely no immunity from prosecution if the police do one of their periodic sweeps of classified sites.

Craigslist listing> escort (the seller) gets busted, Craigslist is untouched
IslandSwapMeet listing> both the escort and Scott (the seller) get busted.

Swoopbug Richard definitely hit the nail on the head in his last press release when he said Scott's decision making was questionable...especially when you consider that Scott mentions his air traffic controller job and employer on a page (his IslandSwapMeet about me page) which also contains a listing of his escort services listings.  If you want to lose your job the best way to do it is to mention your employer's name on a page where you're selling illegal/questionable "merchandise". :

Remember Haircut Rabbit, the eBay employee who joined a gamers forum, listed her job title (and her employee eBay Inc) on her forum profile, and ended up getting banned by the forum after she got in an argument with a fellow poster and made some very bigoted/racist comments?   eBay eventually found out and fired her because they weren't very happy that the eBay Inc name was associated with a bunch of racist forum comments.

Here are a few reasons why ScottyDo is having so much trouble getting anyone to join his MLM clone site.

We haven't gotten much done over the holidays because everyone has been on vacation and spending time with their families, but were \sic\ getting back to work now.

Sellers expect their vendors to be on the job 24/7.  No serious seller is going to join a site whose owner needs to work a day job to support his ego feeding auction site hobby.  No serious seller is going to use an auction site (or web host) that doesn't have someone on the job 24/7 to monitor the site.

As far as dealing with Rick Austin or Locicero, the owner of SwoopBug, it just keeps getting weirder and more of a mess. I am trying to break off all ties and connections with him, but he created alot \sic\ of messes that I'm still trying to clean up, and it's gonna \sic\ take some time.

No serious seller is going to join a site whose owner is so unprofessional that he airs his personal disputes on a site (PSU) that his customers (sellers) frequent.  Do you see sellers airing their gripes, complaints, and disputes on social media sites that buyers frequent like ShopWiki or Kaboodle...NO.

The main thing is, I never was involved in running his penny auction.
