UPS and FedEx Shipping Can Be Dangerous to your eBay Business
Quote: It can cost you dearly if your package gets damaged even if you paid for insurance.  We have had both UPS and FedEx decline insurance claims because they argue we did not pack the item sufficiently. This usually occurs on the larger – heavier items...

... If a package weighs over 70 pounds they require special labeling.  Some packages even though they are light in weight, could be hit with a special size service charge.  These shipments are called “dimensional”.

Re: UPS and FedEx Shipping Can Be Dangerous to your eBay Business
Was this written by the USPS PR office?  Just about every danger cited in this article also applies to packages shipped by USPS, DHL, or any other shipping service.

That happens a lot with USPS when you ship internationally and are forced to use the higher priced Airmail Parcel rate instead of Airmail Letter when your light package's LxWXD is over 36" ,  Tongue  Tongue Tongue
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site.
