eBay Ticket Buyers Still Waiting

For many it's simply called "The Game." Ohio State and Michigan meet on the football field this weekend at the Big House in Ann Arbor. But some fans are concerned they won't get their tickets in time, even though they paid for them months ago on the online auction site eBay.

At least 50 people who say they bought tickets on eBay, some as far back as June, feel they've been ripped off. "The tickets were $799 plus $15 for shipping, so $814 is what I put on my credit card," said Greg Boring. He bought four tickets to the Ohio State Vs. Michigan game on eBay, months ago. Today, he's still waiting on those tickets.

A Fostoria man under investigation in a possible eBay ticket scheme is now missing. Fostoria police say the wife of Mark West has filed a missing person report, saying she hasn't seen him since Tuesday...

Attorney General Jim Petro also sued Mark West, 53, of Fostoria, in Wood County Common Pleas Court, alleging several violations of the state consumer protection act and seeking a fine of $25,000 per violation.

So far 80 people who spent $60,000 on bogus tickets to last Saturday's game have come forward. "We're very actively pursuing the criminal side too," Petro spokeswoman Kim Norris said. "We're looking for Mr. West to talk to him."...

A Wood County grand jury has indicted a missing northwest Ohio man who customers complained never sent the Ohio State-Michigan football tickets they ordered from him in an online auction. Mark West, 53, of Fostoria, was indicted Wednesday on charges of theft and telecommunications fraud...

There have been 138 complaints about West involving more than $60,000.

Police in Florida arrested a northwest Ohio man who customers complained never sent the Ohio State-Michigan football tickets they ordered from him in an online auction.

Mark West, 53, of Fostoria, was being held in a Volusia County jail following his arrest at a hotel bar Saturday in Daytona Beach, Fla., police there said. He was indicted in November on charges of theft and telecommunications fraud.

West had been missing since Nov. 15...
